Re: Prophet 600 questions

Thank you so much. That's very helpful. I am using a Moog pedal for my Little Phatty, so i guess it's 0-5.
I really appreciate you taking the time to help!

Re: The Most Badazz Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer

I love my Prophet 600, and I totally agree with you on the Juno 106. I sold my 106 to pay for my 600 and it was a GREAT choice. The VCO vs DCO's makes a massive difference. The 106 was very uninspiring to play. Every time I touch my Prophet I'm writing a new sound and I love it. I think it's going t...

Re: Prophet 600 questions

I actually haven't used the onboard sequencer. I use Cubase for all my sequencing, so I don't really need the one on the Prophet. I've used the arpeggiator but not the sequencer, sorry.

Prophet 600 questions

1) Can someone explain what exactly the Poly-Mod section is and does? 2) Does anyone know how to change it from low note priority to high note priority? 3) I read somewhere that it's possible to choose how many of the 12 oscillators you can assign to use when in Unison mode. Is this correct or was s...

Synth Songwriting Contest

So I entered a Roland Synth Songwriting Contest in Canada and got chosen for the top 6. Now it's down to an online vote. My song is Stars From Streetlights "Staggered Breathing". You should go to the site and vote, hopefully for my song. But vote for the one you like best. www.roland.ca/synthcontest...

Prophet 600 Repair

I bought a Prophet 600 this week from a guy who hasn't used it in years. I'm pretty sure the internal battery is dead, and not all of the keys are working. There may be other issues as well. Can anyone direct me to any good sites that can tell me how to do repairs on a Prophet 600? Battery replaceme...

MonoPoly vs Prophet 600

I am looking to get a good analog poly synth to round out my collection. Currently I have a Little Phatty for my analog fx and mono synth duties, a Rhodes, a Juno 106 and a whole bunch of software synths for digital duties. I make alot of different genres from Ambient and Down Tempo to Indie Synth P...

Re: I made a software synth

That was totally fun!! Simple, but fun.
2 suggestions if I may... Make a way to save the file if possible, and 2 make a way to change tempo, or key.
But that was a cool idea nonetheless, thanks for that!
