Re: Parts for VINTAGE SYNTHESIZERS.....

Looking for a MS-20 white E and G key. I've looked at most of my sources and have had zero success. Erpa! If any of you here have one or the other or better yet both, that would totally make my new year. :-)

Thanks!

Are these keys the same? Will the 106 keys fit the 60? Thanks.

Re: This is so crazy (Jupiter 4 prices)

I know this is straying OT, but I know of a situation where a brain surgeon walked into the infamous guitar shop in La Crosse, WI, didn't know how to even play a guitar, but laid out a flat 180k dollars on the guitar they had sitting there. I would assume if he's working on our brains, both smart pe...

Re: UPS- eyes on the inside

UPS delivery in my area: Boxes show up with half of the peanuts missing and the bubble wrap undone [happened to an Ensoniq ts-10 that was OBVIOUSLY well packed, but UPS did take the time to make sure to stand the synth upwards on my porch and everything was okay!] Another time, I think the seller us...

Re: VSE - Good trader thread

desotoslo was a delight to deal with. sold him an octave of juno 106 keys as he was looking for a particular key. i was able to provide one octave. 4 more octaves left, ha ha. thanks desotoslo, was a pleasure. and and best of all, awesomely fun communications! :-)

Re: Japanese Magazine ships with Analog Synth

correct, that's the case, a flimsy piece of cardboard with a single screw holding it together. the cardboard punchout is on the back of the unit's box. you can pull the magazine out too if you wish to separate the box from the magazine. they don't have to stay together either, the binding is entirel...

Re: Japanese Magazine ships with Analog Synth

by the way, wiss, thanks for confirming i wasn't acting like zeus putting it together, haha. i wasn't sure. i have since replaced the screws with some hardware store ones, woot. as for the "addons" well, they have what wiss talks about in the zine, pictures anyways since i am not entirely sure what ...

Re: Japanese Magazine ships with Analog Synth

too many replies, sorry. I just put on a movie on the computer for my son, and in doing so, I figured something out. I have an 1/8" jack plugged into the output from the soundcard output. I don't have it all the way pushed in, and with it plugged into the output, sound is playing on the internal spe...

Re: Japanese Magazine ships with Analog Synth

okay, so after playing more with it, yes i confirm that mine too also does not work with the external source input. I've tried computer sound card, portable tape cassette, various line outs, etcetera....all to.. erm not work! So...I guess like everybody else, time to find a solution. It's a revision...

Re: Japanese Magazine ships with Analog Synth

I just assembled one. It's pretty basic. A 3 year old could put it together, no joke. In fact, you would much rather prefer a 3 year old's arm strength than an adult's arm strength when tightening the screws. For being from Japan, the screws are pretty much chinese quality. The washer based screws, ...

Re: Where can i get Curtis filters from?

Ugh! Well, the nice thing is there are a few people out there who have hoarded these for years and have a good collection of these CEM and even SSM chips on hand *hides*...just in case! Waiting for them to become worth their weight in gold. Yup! I'm guilty....:-) Anyways, they're around, but like wh...

Yamaha's SK series are also overlooked and have the same panel and styling as the Yamaha CS series (20m, 40m & 70m) I have to agree with you there. I paid less for an SK-50D than most people are paying for a single CS-15 and that's pretty cool considering I get more with the SK50D :) including a bu...

well, being that this thread has been relived with a help question, I am going to add, I love my AX80 more and more every time I play with it. You know what is awesome, an AX80 combined with a Stage Echo, oh it's so angry heaven. I am lacking a chorus effect, in fact, my stage echo is my only effect...

I just received one of these and it's awesome. I am kind of having a hard time understanding why there's not an LED diffuser type thingymajig over the lights. They are awfully bright. Like, blinding bright. Using this thing in the dark just isn't plausible. I think using some scotch tape of some sor...
