Re: DSP Card question

i agree.. if you want to invest in such dsp power card, you should add some more money on your sound card. to improve the D/A's

Echo is a good choice.. i use a tc konnekt, which i am very pleased with. There are many different out there, but check around.

i agree.. any neat sound demos with v-synth only would do the tricks. i would love to get my hands on a v-synth if its actually as cool as they say.

I am actually not sure what a nuke sounds like, but in the start of lord of the ring: fellowship of the ring there is this nice blast after they destroyed the huge man in the intro :).

Techincs WSA1 for weird digital pads.. korg z1 can be nice for padding with all its modulations..

but the emu e6400 ultra is always the winner :)

Congrats on picking up a great VA synth Gary. I just sold mine on the bay yesterday and got $330 for a EC near mint AN1X so I think you got a damn good price. I'm clearing house to make room for my preordered Solaris(mid summer)and I'm ordering a half filled Porta 22 modular from synthesizers.com. ...

i am not trying to cast inn a fire bomb here.. but shouldn't the MC 909 be on your list.. since you are a previous 505 user.

I must say i find great joy in my 909, and it has a great synth engine inside.

The MC-909 has a complete Fantom/XV? sound engine inside it. And you can either use the sample in a rythme kit (where you have 16 slots to put one sample each, mapped to one note pitch), or you can use it directly in the fantom/XV? engine which will pitch it across the keyboard. But each voice can h...
