Re: vermona mono lancet behaving erratic
Sounds like the midi hung up from too much information. Have you tried it with anything else?

Re: Pro Solo MK 2/Cubase issue
Just wanted to follow up on this that it was a firmware issue that did not like midi time code. Kenton sent me an eprom and it solved the issue along with tightening up the midi response a bit in case anyone else experiences this issue.

Re: Pro Solo MK 2/Cubase issue
Yeah, it requires a reboot to unfreeze it. I usually use my mpc 1000 and its ok with that but im trying to get away from the mpc. I have noticed this behavior when I use my korg x-50 as a controller for the kenton as well i have to filter a ton of midi messages to get it to cooperate. just wondering...

It will play fine from my master keyboard(106) from the channel selected in cubase even arpache 5 works but once i hit play or record it craps out. Im sure cubase is sending some midi info it does not like but not...

Im curious as to the planned polyphony count. I know it is 6 voices of analog but can you have seperate sample voices or is it one or the other?

Re: Moog Prodigy needs tuned.
There should be 4 holes on the back 2 for each oscillator. One hole is for pitch(range) and one for scale . the pitch and scale kind of work together you could get by using a guitar tuner. The scale lines the notes up with the key up and down the range of the keyboard. a small screwdriver is needed ...

Re: Doepfer Dark Energy Midi ?
Actually you can assign a midi cc to one of the cv outs not sure if it's 3 or 4 all you do is plug the cv into what you want to control and hit midi learn on the back and tweak the conroller you want to use and it will work.

Re: early aphex twin distortion sound
I have made an attempt to recreate this effect for fun with my Oberheim sem patch panel being fed a drum loop from my MPC 1000.

Re: The New Tom Oberheim SEM Thread
To 3rd construction, It would be dependant on what you were using to control the sems with. If you want polyphony you would have to use a polyphonic midi to cv converter to get polyphonic abilities such as the encore expressionist or a cv keyboard from a modular manufacturer that supports polyphony....

Re: Jomox Xbase 09 NOISY Mix Out?!?!
Yes, I was also using the original power supply. Im just thinking maybe the power supplies were not of the best quality and a replacement might fix the problem. I ended up selling mine "as is" so im not sure what the outcome would be.

Re: Doepfer dark energy
I picked one of these up a couple weeks ago and I must say im really impressed. This thing sounds better than I thought it would. It has a really fat sound and can sound vintage or modern. The pwm really adds movement to the oscillator and gives it a great sound. My only real gripes is the lack of p...
