Sounds like the midi hung up from too much information. Have you tried it with anything else?

Just wanted to follow up on this that it was a firmware issue that did not like midi time code. Kenton sent me an eprom and it solved the issue along with tightening up the midi response a bit in case anyone else experiences this issue.

Yeah, it requires a reboot to unfreeze it. I usually use my mpc 1000 and its ok with that but im trying to get away from the mpc. There should be 4 holes on the back 2 for each oscillator. One hole is for pitch(range) and one for scale . the pitch and scale kind of work together you could get by using a guitar tuner. Actually you can assign a midi cc to one of the cv outs not sure if it's 3 or 4 all you do is plug the cv into what you want to control and hit midi learn on the back and tweak the conroller you want to use and it will work.

To 3rd construction, It would be dependant on what you were using to control the sems with. If you want polyphony you would have to use a polyphonic midi to cv converter to get polyphonic abilities such as the encore expressionist or a cv keyboard from a modular manufacturer that supports polyphony....

Yes, I was also using the original power supply. Im just thinking maybe the power supplies were not of the best quality and a replacement might fix the problem. I ended up selling mine "as is" so im not sure what the outcome would be.
