I actually just started using an Atari 1040STf last December to sequence. I'm running Cubase with the stock MIDI interface going into a MOTU Timepiece to distribute MIDI to everything.

I love it, rock solid.

It was both the floppy disk size, and the drive itself causing the problem. I found a few 720Kb disks around the house, and loaded Typhoon onto one of those. The first time putting it into the sampler, though, it still sat at the same screen. I had to forcefully shove the disk in to get the drive to...

I got my Juno 106 4 or 5 years ago for $160, not sure if thats very good or not.

Today, however, i got a Roland R-8 MKII with the electronic card and the manual for $45. Thats a pretty damn good deal.
