Electrix Vocoder help!!
So maybe i'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to control my pitch via the source input(god I hope I didn't buy some busted ebay c**p). I have my Prophet running into the Source Input, Mic into the front Formant input, and running out of the effect output of course. I have mic selected because...

Re: moogerfooger question
I think the Moog Pedals are a very specific sound that are definitely worth the money considering the sound quality and craftsmanship, but I don't think they are as "useable" as you would hope. They sound crazy, but it's just not something you would use at great lengths. I think Electro Harmonix hav...

Re: Name ONE favorite pedal (+more)
Electro Harmonix Small Stone(great analog phaser) and the 2880 looper looks like it will be my new favorite when I get it. Looks like the best midi synced looper in its price range. Boss RC-50 can't touch it. Moog Murf is pretty cool too.

Get a Korg ESX-1. Sample whatever sounds you want and it has TUBES!!!!!! Warmth for days my friend and a pretty decent effects section.

Oh, just noticed I was referring to the microsynth and not the minisynth. Do they have the same problems?

Re: What was the worst synthesizer you ever owned?
And then there was the horribly unreliable Electro-Harmonix Mini Synth that belonged to the guitarist in a band I was in. The touch keyboard was a nightmare; depending on the room temperature, what it was sitting on, the phase of the moon and a bunch of other stuff, some notes wouldn't play and oth...

Electrix Warp Factory MK1 vs. MK2
Just wondering if anyone knew the difference between the two models? I've noticed the MK1 is going for almost twice what the MK2 is. Is there something that's better about the 1st generation? Getting one of the two in the next couple days so I was looking for some advice on the subject.

Re: Classic Roland TR-808 beats on Youtube
Nice work for sure. Love my ESX, although it's currently in the shop with output problems. Waiting to hear back what the diagnosis is. When it's working though, it's certainly one of the best samplers in the price range and very different from an MPC. I replaced the ESX tubes by JJ ECC803S, for bett...
