for a 1st synth for prog stuff, have you considered a vintage analogue like an ARP? If you just want lead sounds, a tidy Axxe, Solus or Pro Soloist/Pro DGX should be within your price range if your patient and cruise ebay for a couple of months. Thanks Mini

I have been lead to believe that the conductive foam issue was isolated to the original Soloist and that the Pro Soloist/Pro DGX were based on a different design - Can anyone confirm this?
