2CAudio Aether Vs Hardware Reverbs

Hi, I thinking of buying a high quality reverb. from a quick look at hardware reverbs, i can see it can get up to 2500$ and more maybe. I also saw some very good reviews on 2CAudio Aether plugin which cost 250$. I know there are much cheaper reverb plugins on the market, but it looks like its the be...

Vermona DRM-1 FM

Hi, I got into software modular synthesis lately and im trying to recreate the drum 1 / 2 channel. thing is, im not sure what kind of modulation is going on there and i don't think its a simple fm. with high frequency and intensity, if i change the pitch, it sounds more like ring mod. with very very...

Re: cubase stop start

On the transport bar, you have a 'sync' button. ctrl + left click will open a window with settings for the midi clock (source and destinations, enable start and stop massages ect.)

Re: SW Samplers Vs. HW Samplers

The thing that im affraid of with hardware is the browsing and editing. to do it all with a small LCD and menus doesnt look intuative and im worried about spending too much time pulling my hair off to find a sample and do small edits to it (i only make small env and filter edits). and im affraid it ...

Re: SW Samplers Vs. HW Samplers

Hi, thnx for the reply. i dont think that its such a big of advantage. i have no problem to cut-export-import. Im currently using the MPC emulation bundeled with Cubase5. it has 4pole lp filter with res. velocity can modulate the attack and cutoff. Im only using it to trigger real percussions sample...

SW Samplers Vs. HW Samplers

Hi,

I was wondering, what are (if any) of a hardware samplers (Akai/Emu) over a software samplers on the market?
only thing i can think of, is that with hardware it will be harder to find the sample you want.

Kind Regards,

Re: Roland MKS-80

Re: Roland MKS-80

If you find an Andromeda at that price, let me know :) I wouldnt consider it if i didnt know it has a software program to control it. i have no idea how it sounds like yet, couldnt find anything on youtube or google with its sounds. i was considering JX-8P before that, although i liked its pads, it ...
