Re: Most compact and versatile live-setup?

I do improvised electronic music. My current set-up is small & quite versatile.

Nord Micromodular --> KP3 inputs
Mic --> KP3 mic input
KP3 outputs --> Machinedrum UW mk2 --> house

Still got room for something in the Micromodular inputs. Thinking on what, still.

IBN018: Blind Moany Wat-No outside force can harm the coyote

http://www.immigrantbreastnest.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/bmw2010.jpg Download here: http://www.immigrantbreastnest.com/releases/ibn018/ Blind Moany Wat returns with “No outside force can harm the coyote.” A gritty blur of lap-steel scrape, warped bass and synthesized smear, “No outside force…”...

Re: Processing the ER-1?

I like to run the ER-1 through a Jomox M-Resonator. You can get some really disgusting, fat tones out of it using all the weird feedback & FM options on the M-Res. Used that combo for some of the drum parts on the tune "Mad Derelict" on this album by a band I am in, Thermometerometer (free download)...

Re: Effect section in Roland SP-606 as stand-alone?

Huh. It looks like I'm going to have enough room in the road case to fit a few more things... If I see a deal on a VF-1 I'm not going to be able to pass it up :facepalm:

Re: Effect section in Roland SP-606 as stand-alone?

Thanks for the tips, guys. I actually ended up with a KP3, as one previous poster suggested, because I found one a great price. The VF-1 looks cool but having no knobs to tweak kills me. & yeah, I'm going to miss Tumbling & Feedback Ripper effects, although I'll get over it, probably through the use...

Effect section in Roland SP-606 as stand-alone?

Hello, I've got a Roland SP-606 which I really like, except it's so big. I'd sell the thing & get an SP-404 or something even smaller (if possible) except I like the effects section in it too much. My question: did Roland or Boss ever release any kind of stand-alone multi-effect with the same kind o...

Re: Basic Channel Synths/Gear

Perhaps a bit off topic, but I love Maurizio's business casual attire. Right up my alley. I love the overall business casual vibe of Basic Channel sounds, too.

Immigrant Breast Nest Presents, 7/31, Brooklyn

http://www.immigrantbreastnest.com So, we have good news and bad news about Friday’s show. Which do you want first? The bad news? Ok, due to some deaths in the family and intense car trouble, Xrin Arms is cancelling his tour and won’t make the show on Friday. But the good news is that David B. Apple...

Re: Boss Slicer SL-20 on synth

I use an Electribe ER-1 for beat-slicing b/c you can program your own patterns. Takes line level / works great / easy to use, etc.

Re: Delay pedal for synths??? Moog? Memory Lane? etc...

Pigtronix Echolution has a f**k of features & I think it can take a line level signal. If $ were not a factor over here, I'd already have one. Amazing box.
