Re: New c**p
Well, that's good to hear. Some day I may have a big wall of machinery, but until then vsts should be able to serve my purposes (especially seeing as there are are so many of them. It's all a matter of staying away from the pre-sets).

Re: New c**p
Thanks. It's actually part of an ongoing series of 6/4 semi-ambient songs designed for an imaginary animated film (the first part is Weirdfish on my web player. I may have part three started now (can never tell if a song will progress at such an early stage)). I should have clarified, though, by syn...

New c**p
I've made a few new songs since I last checked in around these parts. Night Station is a pentatonic track that uses far more synths than most of my tracks (I usually use mostly distorted sound recordings, but this one is at least 75% synth). Salvador Dali is a more experimental piece, & features som...

A rockish song about cows
I made one.
Direct link to song file.
As usual, I'm not sure what genre it falls under, but this time I'm thinking "rock", due to rather heavy guitar use.

Re: i attempted to make some jungle...
I'm not sure if it's a sample or not, but there is a pretty clear two tone rhythm in there which stuck out (for me at least).

Re: Halloween Aftermath (aka CS-30 tweaking)
This is rather creepy, I must say. It reminds me of an automated toy slowly running out of energy - IN SPACE.

Re: i attempted to make some jungle...
I like the general sense of tension, but there's something about the mix...I'm not sure what (not really my area of expertise). I think it has something to do with those two repeated notes standing out too much, & everything else not standing out enough.

A "Love" Song
I made one.
Uses a lot of FM Synths, 303s, & my usual dose of ten billion different noises I can make with my mouth. If you take a look around my website, also, you may notice that I've done a bit of a redesign so I won't be able to win "World's Worst Sense of Design" again next year.

Re: 80s Synth Medley (3 guys, 6 synths!)
I'm also 17, but my synth collection isn't nearly as nice as you fellow's collection (just a Microkorg & some junked up garage sale finds in my hardware section). I feel like I'm behind.

Re: The D-50 strikes back...!!!
Listening now... -0:20. Nice ambience. Are those seagulls synthesthetic? -0:50. Holy c**p! All the music coming in made me jump. It was unexpected. -3:00. Digging it so far. -4:40. Sort of got distracted looking up the proper spelling of "synthesthetic". -5:15. Ooh, I like that noise. Overall, good ...

Oh, I see. Do you have any samples of your "other" music? I'm kind of curious, now.

Mystery Mountain (and Screamu)
I've made two more tracks since the last time I visited, & here they are (now with direct links, as requested)- Mystery Mountain , the longest track I've done so far (at 4:51), using all kinds of distorted water samples. Screamu , a shorter & much faster paced tracked, with lots of acoustic synth gu...
