Korg Volca Beats MIDI (w/ Ableton)

Very simple... I just picked up a Volca Beats. Fun little box. When I connect it to Live via MIDI, the drum machine IS receiving the clock signal, but is there any way for me to trigger the drums individually through Live/with a keyboard in the same way that you can play the other Volca's externally...

Sysex with Novation K & V Station

For hours I have been trying and trying to get SysEx Librarian to import individual custom presets from my Novation K-Station to use on the V-Station vst. Im running an M-Audio midisport uno. SysEx Librarian will import whole preset banks, but it refuses to recognize single preset dumps. I'm also ha...

Value of Juno-106 with bad voice chip?

I have a Juno-106 in absolutely beautiful cosmetic and electronic condition, the keys look and feel as if they were never used and the surface has barely been worn down at all. The output and the filter and everything else sound clean. I may have to let go of it very soon for the sake of making spac...

Akai MPX8 question

I've read multiple times that up to 30mb of music can be stored on the MPX8s pads at one time, but I am confused as to if that is referring to all of the pads in a kit together, or each kit separately. I understand that most will use this machine for one-shots and short loops, but for the purpose I ...

s**t Luck With Vintage Gear

I'm currently trying to release anger from dealing with my broken Juno-106 that i've been trying to get fixed since 2009. For as long as i've been a electronic-music gear collector, i've always been more attracted to the hardware of the 80s and 90s. My problem is that every time I have invested in p...

Re: picked up Juno-106 from repair shop, STILL BROKEN...

Current problems I am facing: • every few notes is quieter than the others • some notes aren't even the right note (some will be same pitch as previous or next note) • on sub oscillator, some note have a noticeable high frequency sparkle on top • ^with all of those, the problem notes switch up after...

picked up Juno-106 from repair shop, STILL BROKEN...

A few weeks ago I dropped off my Juno-106 at an authorized service center. I explained in detail what was wrong, emphasizing that a voice chip was out. I had a spare roland voice chip for them to use, and they sounded confident about being able to fix it. I had to pay a $90 dollar drop off fee. Toda...

Re: Juno-106 problem (not voice chip)

The VCF is working fine, the VCA seems also not to be the problem. And why would the VCA or VCF have a problem with only one voice?

Re: Juno-106 problem (not voice chip)

I have done all you said and nothing has worked. Im starting to think it may just be a bad voice chip that needs replacing.
