Re: Beginner Synth.

I know that any of the Clavia Nord's are super easy to use and are good synths for beginners and veterans.

Re: Has anyone ever seen or heard of the Novation KS series?

I had the KS-5 a few months ago. I sold it. It's a well sounding gear. And it's body is very alike the supernova II. knobs are the same and such. But the KS family does have trouble with clicking. Which isnt good. Wether you like the nova or the KS is up to you, they sound very differently. The KS s...

I have yet to try out using external midi clock via Midi cables onto the midi interface. but to me it makes no sense. Ahhh, that's where you're going wrong. Same tempo is...

I'm using a M-audio midi interface. But I've been using the Virus's own USB cable for midi. Each time I connected to analogue outs on the virus, the arpeggiator went out of sync. anyways I will still need the USB connected to use the Virus Software. But do you think I should use own midi cables con...

Do you mean I should set up all the synths to recieve external clock from the computer? Yes, you won't necessarily need everything sync'ed though. Depends on how you like to work - if you're a synth programmer or a synth player. Also there are other advantages to having your stuff hooked up to a mi...

Virus TI, Mixer, Audio card confusion

I can't figure out how to wire up my stuff. I got a Yamaha Mixer that works as a USB interface. I got a Virus TI that goes out of sync if I don't use USB connection instead of analogue outputs. So how do I connect this stuff right? Now I got 2 audio interfaces connected to the computer, the mixer wh...
