Re: Controlling MS10 from Pro~One w/ CV
Correct me if i'm wrong but i think the SCI puts out volts per octave but the Korgs use Hertz per octave....
If this is the case i may not work but i'm sure a converter could be found

Re: problem w. kybd tuning/tracking
Start by cleaning the keyboard contacts. I had a similar issue and this fixed it. Could even be a switch or pot so maybe give them a good clean too Like you say it sounded like the portamento was on all the time. You never know it could be that simple. If not that then time to get a service manual a...

How to tune Korg Micro Preset M500
Just picked up a Micro Preset m500 but it wants a bit of a tune up I cant find any set up info on how to set the volts per octave (if thats what it uses) or which trimmers to use. If i set A to 440 hz and then press a note one or two octaves up or down the scale is not tracking correctly. Looked at ...

Use the leg off a resistor or small diode. They are all ready tinned and easy to use as well as easy to shape if required

Re: Question, Synth from a song
String sounds to me like the solina.. they use it all over that album. Minimoog will do the wha wha sound no problem
On the minimoog there is no dedicated lfo so you use osc 3 set to the lowest octave setting 'LO' and then use the osc tune dial to speed and slow the lfo to the filter

No problem...
Might be a good idea to just solder up the transistors again to be on the safe side. At worst i think TR7 might want replacing but other than that looks like its all good and no expensive parts to replace

Re: What is CV Gate
CV stands for control voltage - Old synth use a voltage which changes from the bottom key you press on the synth and the voltage will slowly increase with each key press upwards on the keyboard. The cv socket on the back of the synth is like having an external keyboard connected but instead it is re...

Re: Juno 60 is missing one voice when VCA is set to Gate
Pin 1 of the ba662 is the control voltage input. What you should be getting is a voltage on pin 1 to turn the amp on.
Check a couple of pin 1's on others and se if they are high, you might find on voice 6 its staying low and not coming on. If thats the case its gonna be simple. might be tr7

Re: Juno 60 is missing one voice when VCA is set to Gate
when you say you have tested at tp4 what are you doing? That point would be an audio signal as its the output from the vca i believe After the 4011 it does a couple of things... it then turns pin 13 high on the ir3r01 through a transistor. Put your neg probe to 0v and check pin 13 goes high... if ye...
