Re: so many synthesizers, someone help me before i lose my mind

I think you'll be very pleased with a a V-synth. It's a really organic and expressive thing for a synth, which is something I got from your music. It's more 'bendy' than a lot of synths seem to me to be. This is hardly anything akin to what you're doing and didn't require much forethought, but I ma...

Re: so many synthesizers, someone help me before i lose my mind

v-synth it is! see i knew you guys would help me come to a decision better than continuing to research by myself. all the youtube examples i find of the vsynth are of people going all crazy and making it sound like an electric guitar or something, which makes it hard to know if it can also do what i...

Re: so many synthesizers, someone help me before i lose my mind

(sorry for crossquoting, guesswho) (your post makes no sense, sir ruff. i am being a prick-ette because it annoys me when instead of answering my question they took the opportunity instead make snooty comments) SO- i have a list, that instead of getting smaller, got LARGER! ha! thanks for everyones ...

Re: so many synthesizers, someone help me before i lose my mind

The JU-2 is by no means worse than the 106. The fact that you have control over seven envelopes as opposed to only four with the 106 had me sold on my JU-1. The only Juno I haven't owned is a 60, and the only one I kept was my JU-1. Since you have a pretty nice budget you cold always take a little ...

Re: so many synthesizers, someone help me before i lose my mind

you've also now stroked your ego. and potentially insulted those who simply push buttons and aren't classically trained. you are on a website that is a WONDERFUL resource that has tons of synths lined up and explained. when i first found this site, i went through every single page of the synths etc...

Re: so many synthesizers, someone help me before i lose my mind

I record to protools, ableton, logic, acid, etc, and do NOT need something that complicates things by recording patterns and by tapping buttons instead of...

Juno 106 question- PLEASE HELP!

I just bought a juno 106 off ebay. the description was that it "is In very nice shape and everything works as it should". now, I have not had a lot of experience with old analog synths but it arrived with dust all over it (from the case foam rubbing off on it) and when i play it i get a lot of pops ...
