Re: Is my Moog Rogue broken, or am I missing something?

The sound from a synth (or any electronic instrument) comes out of the out put. Plugging headphones into this will result in a very low-level signal, because the headphones aren't being driven by anything, i.e., an amplifier. Also, you will only hear the sound through the left side, because a synth ...

Re: Running external signals through a synthesizer...

Thanks very much for the help. Those videos were quite informative.

So basically when something is plugged in to the external input, the only section of the synthesizer that will have an effect on the sound (apart from volume controls and the like) would be the filter, right?

Running external signals through a synthesizer...

I don't have any synths at the moment, but I had a Micromoog a while back that I sold, unfortunately. I didn't realize until long after that it's possible to process an external signal (like a guitar) through the synth. Now I want to get another Micro, both to get my old Moog back and also to give t...

How much could I get for my Micromoog?

I have a '75 Micromoog, serial number 1--0 in really great condition. No major physical issues at all. One switch (the "Filter Mode" switch) is a little dodgy, as in when you click it all the way to "Tone" it doesn't completely stay on the "Tone" setting...hard to explain. Not a huge deal, I didn't ...

Matching loops

I have an SP-404, and I can't figure out how to match loops, timewise. They all eventually mess up, no matter how precise. Is there an instrument that plays loops in time with each other? Or is that what a sequencer will do? I've looked into the sequencer function on the 404, but can't seem to figur...

Micromoog problem...

I was trying to record my Micromoog, line in into a mixer, and then mixer into a laptop, with Garageband. I noticed that when I hit a key, there was a thin staticy buzz that occured right at the attack of the sound, along with the sound that the synth is making. I can't seem to make it go away. It j...

Another issue with the SP-404

When I loop something that I sampled, sometimes I get a click in between the end and the beginning. Any way to stop this?

ESQ-1 problem

Can someone tell me what it means when an ESQ-1 says this on the screen?: 'Battery voltage is low. Save data and consult owner's manual.'

Would this be a fixable problem?

Re: Micromoog trim pots

Well I was turning them, trying to fix this problem that I've had with the thing for a while, and it didn't really change anything. I used a tuner, and it was in tune. Are you saying it may mess up the fine tune knob somehow?
