JUPITER 6 WON'T TURN ON!!

Hey guys, So yeah, my jupiter 6 won't turn on!! It's been working fine for months... I remember this happening a long time ago and it fixing itself in a reasonably short time but I can't help but worry. What do you guys think the problem might be? There's just no lights anywhere, not even on that li...

Re: LINN DRUM JLCOOPER MIDI MOD

I ended up figuring it out last night. Turns out that you need to open up the linndrum and flip a switch in the machine that sets it in slave mode... not the most practical of solutions but hey! now it works! Now I just need to figure out how to get those hi-hats/crash/ride sounds to stop going out ...

LINN DRUM JLCOOPER MIDI MOD

Hey guys, I recently aquired myself a Linndrum LM-2 with the JLCooper midi mod (for a very reasonable price!)... but I can't find any information about anywhere on the net.

Essentially I'd just like to be able to sync the sequencer to my midi clock.

Anyone know what the trick is?

Re: TC Helicon VoiceTone Synth / EHX V256

I was reading the instruction manual on the V256 and It doesn't say anything about being able to control the internal synth with your voice's pitch... HMMMmmmmmmm

Re: Vocoders! (and these need to sound GOOD)

Yeah, I mean, I would love to have a vintage analog vocoder but it simply isn't a realistic goal for me at the moment. I would just need something that does it's job well and that I would feel comfortable gigging with. I'm going for a compact but interesting set-up for live performance. laptop + sam...

Re: Vocoders! (and these need to sound GOOD)

right, I totally get how the vintage moog or roland vocoders could (and probably do) sound better... but it's just that they have that very "old school" vocoder sound to them.. you know? I guess what I'm saying is that that vintage vocoder sound is actually NOT what I'm looking for right now. I'm th...

Re: Vocoders! (and these need to sound GOOD)

... I just read that the G1 only has a 16 band vocoder and that seems a bit low compared to the micron or miniak's 40band one...

So yeah, upon closer inspection it may not be the best option for me.

Re: Vocoders! (and these need to sound GOOD)

oh hey wow, yeah, I didn't even think of the G1 at all!

I think that may be the one... It's tweakable as h**l so I'd be surprised if I was unable to find a sound that I was happy with.

Lets hope I can find one used and for a decent price...

Vocoders! (and these need to sound GOOD)

Hey guys, I've been using my electrix warp factory with a specific patch (basically detuned unison with some pwm and a bit of noise) on my jupiter six to get the specific vocoded sound I was after... but it's killing my workflow! I'd love to be able to play the strings/pads/whatever else on the Jup6...

Re: EML 101/400/401

So right now I have these two beautiful EML synths sitting in my studio. Everything seems to work more or less perfect. The only ACTUAL issue is the 401 "mod" slider. It works... but needs a major cleaning. Wow, the signal path sure is strange on the 101 though. I'm having a hard time getting my hea...

EML 101/400/401

Hey guys, I've been meaning to buy a modular synth lately by trying to sell my mpc 2500 for something around the 1400$ mark and my Roland Axis for the going ebay price... But right now there's someone offering me a EML101/400/401 for two grand and I would need to make money asap meaning I'd have to ...
