Re: Some acid tunes

your kick drum seems slightly lagging behind the music for some odd reason (I am listening through tv speakers with zero bass though)

Re: new group-buy deal

I got suckered into buying the Wusikstation thing about a year ago , downloaded all the extra bits and installed it... discovered it was total s**t with a c**p sound quality and uninstalled it.

not worth a toss

Re: playing synths and not really knowing how to play piano.....

I've had zero training and learned how to play with 2 hands (though not to any spectacular level) by playing over the top of other peoples music and learning their notes. I think my timing is my biggest problem but since I quantize everything anyway and usually program complex parts in step time I d...

Re: cheap usb mixers that bus all channels?

I have an Edirol M16DX that records 16 channels (4x Mono, 6x stereo pairs) at once over USB2 though it only returns a stereo pair.

Works flawlessly and less than 2ms latency in cubase 4

cheapest available midi clock to din sync24 converter ?

I'm currently waiting on a deal to buy a TB303 and I'll need to sync it to midi. I've read I can do it via my 909 if I half unplug the din cable but I've not tested this.... can someone confirm it for me? Failing this , the cheapest option I can find still available is a Kenton CV/Gate converter whi...

Re: Nord Wave Vs Nord Lead 3 vs nord G2

I used to have the first nord modular. You can't make patches on it without a PC. You will have to find yourself a nice cheap laptop to program it once you say goodbye to XP. I didn't really use mine much , the time vs sound quality trade off just wasn't worth the programming effort. I had great int...

now isn't a good time to sell

Re: I just bought a NL2x. I'm sooooo disappointed...

I like my Nord Rack , mainly because it sounds so different from the rest of the VA synths I've owned.

Virus and supernova oscs are dark and weak , nords are bright and hard.... great for basic in your face sounds.

Get one as your 2nd or 3rd synth , not as your main
