Re: Good synths for leads?
Thanks for all of the replies guys. Sorry it has taken me so long to reply, I completely forgot about this thread. As for your suggestions, the Nord Lead is out of my price range unfortunately and the MS2000's four voices are a bit of a problem. I have checked out the Alesis Ion, it looks pretty goo...

Good synths for leads?
Hi, I'm looking for a good synth for making leads on. I currently have a Novation Bass Station for bass parts but I would really like something polyphonic for leads. The synth should have: At least 6 note polyphony. A three octave keyboard at minimum as I plan to use it as a controller keyboard as w...

Re: Emu SP1200 pricing
I saw one for sale on eBay Australia the other day with a starting price of 50 cents I think. It shot up to around $150 and then the seller took it off. They must have realized how much these things actually sell for.

Thanks for the in-depth reply. I have settled on S1000, as you said there just seems to be something sexy about it.

Akai S1000HD or S2800?
Hey guys, I have the chance to buy either an Akai S1000HD or S2800 and was wondering which is better in terms of sound quality, character and capabilities. Having no experience with samplers before I'm really not sure.
What do you guys think?

Re: What turned you on to electronic/synth music?
Man, I feel so young...well I guess I am. For me it was Daft Punk last year. I didn't hear much electronic music as a child in the 90's and until last year thought of all electronic music as repetitive c**p that was only enjoyable with an illegal substance in your system.

Bass Station filter input problems
I have a real problem with the inputs and outputs on my gear. Only one of the outputs on my R-70 works properly (I'm working on that) and now it seems the filter input on my bass station doesn't work properly either. Anything I put into it comes out really quiet, even at full volume. Does anyone kno...

Re: Novation Bass Station - Boss distortion problems
Thanks for the help guys. I think these two just don't work well together. The only way to get rid of the noise completely is to have basically no distortion at all. So, I guess I'll just have to find a better pedal. Can anyone suggest any?

Novation Bass Station - Boss distortion problems
Hey guys. I recently bought a Boss DS-1 as my first pedal hoping to use it on my bass station. But when I play my bass station through it, the bass station crackles and hums a lot, even on low distortion settings. When the distortion is cranked up I can hear the oscillator's when no keys are pressed...

He wasn't really clear about that in the description so I checked back just then and saw that someone has bought it. So don't worry. Thanks for help anyway.

Juno 106 Broken LFO
Hey, I have the chance to buy a Juno 106 on ebay but the LFO doesn't work. I would like to know if it's worth buying and how much it would cost to repair the LFO.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Roland R-70 Bad Outputs - Power Supply Problem?
Alright, I have already made a thread about this but I was wondering if a power supply can affect the outputs on my R-70. I was looking at the R-70 manual and it says the power supply should have a current draw of 550ma. The power supply I am using now has a current draw of 300ma, could this affect ...
