Re: those fancy stands for synths

the guy in the kraftwerk vid is my best mate (spleg) :) he's just got a bog standard pretty much brandless 3 tier keyboard stand and then a two tier one which is double braced and pretty nice and sturdy, also brandless I think. as far as i know they were both ebay purchases. Oh there you are! They'...

Re: those fancy stands for synths

I just got a text from my mate saying "Holy f**k h**l get online right now", and I thought maybe someone had died or something terrible had happened and I started imagining all sorts of horrible situations and I shook myself up a little... then I get online and he says "check out this thread, it's y...

Re: Yamaha SHS-10 Keytar

Agreed!

My friend has one, and if you want a cheap Casio sort of tone and can put up with minikeys, it's great. But a decent keytar it is not, and it's definitely not worth much more than £50!

Re: 80s Synth Medley (3 guys, 6 synths!)

Thanks a lot for more nice comments, even months after we made the video!

By complete coincidence, we were just planning the 'set list' for the next medley we intend to do. Hopefully this one will be better! :)

Re: synths in museum

Were you allowed to play them? It seems like such a waste to have all those rare and awesome keyboards locked up in a museum where they can't be touched. :(

Re: 80s Synth Medley (3 guys, 6 synths!)

I love that Juno pad you guys were using. The Juno sounds so awesome. It can cut right through any mix! :) were you kids even alive in the 80s? Nope! I was born in 1991 (guy in the blue shirt), and the other guys were born in 1992. My synths are the Juno, the MicroKORG and the ARP Axxe, and I just ...

Re: For Blade Runner lovers

Nice! Very Blade Runner-esque.

The Poly Evolver lead sounds a little too thin to be a CS-80, but it's damn close!
