Roland JX8P w/M16C plus case for a Korg Arp Odyssey

The JX8P is in great shape. She sounds lovely and the strings and analog digital type sounds are amazing. It comes with a flight case in decent shape (very sturdy) This Roland JX8P synthesizer is made for the German market, 220V and requires a step down converter, which would be included. Finally, i...

Re: Outside sound penetrating 1/4' cables

Interesting, on a somewhat related note I happened to touch the metal faceplate of my amp with the end of my guitar cable the other day and perfectly picked up some random radio station, was amusing for a bit but glad it wasn't always there! haha That's crazy. I had a Paia modular that would someti...

Outside sound penetrating 1/4' cables

I feel that the crying baby that lived next door somehow was picked up on the 1/4' cables and brought into my last song. It's really weird, I feel I can hear this wailing child in the song. Is this possible?

Re: Crumar Roady

Just purchased my first Crumar Roady and have to say it has some interesting features. I traded if for an Akai MiniAK, which I traded for a Roland Juno 2 with a faulty keyboard. So, it was a move forward. I felt the MiniAK didn't quite deliver the sound I was looking to get on my tracks. The Roady i...

The font is correct, but the size is noticeably smaller on the right table.

Technics SL-1200 MK2 different emblem

I purchased a couple Technics SL-1200 MK2 turntables and realized that the emblem is slightly different.
How come they changed the logo? I checked out google and couldn't find an explanation.

Korg LP-10 parts

I have a broken key, but I can't find anything online. Is it the same keys as another more popular korg product?
Otherwise, it goes well with my sound. :?:

Moog Opus 3 Preserve the Sound

The writer of this blog has helped restore many analog synthesizers. I recently picked up the Opus 3 (working) but had the same issue with black goo on the sliders. I removed as much as possible by removing the control panel and scraping the goo off into plastic bags. The switches and pots are quite...

Re: Korg SQ-10 vs. SQ-1

Yeah, it seems the SQ1 is the logical choice. I'm sill going to sell M1 to fund the MKS 70 soon. Thanks for the advice

Re: Korg SQ-10 vs. SQ-1

At the moment, I don't own any CV gear. I think MIDI clock would be important. The Volca knobs are alright, kinda small, but they suffice. Room isn't a big problem as I have the ikea j**k ;) However, the m1 is massive and heavy in it's case. I can't move it by car, so this deal is delayed at the lea...

Korg SQ-10 vs. SQ-1

There's an opportunity to grab a Korg SQ-10 for cheap (Korg M1 w/case & orchestral cards plus $350 CND) It seems by Korg just released the SQ-1 which is 16 step vs. 12 and it has MIDI and USB to sync the clock. Also, the SQ-1 is smaller and cheaper. What's the benefit of buying the older model? Korg...

Re: Ridiculous eBay 'Buy-it-now' and starting bids.

ridiculously good deal eBay seems to be a great option for buying vintage equipment. Back in the day, you could find Sequential Circuits Pro-1s for around $500! I've sold my share on the bay, but have a few horror stories as well. I just purchased a Roland PG800. I've seen them go up in price every...
