Korg Poly 800 vs Roland Alpha Juno
Same era analog polys with button clicking programming styles, DCOs, chorus, similar price range. Pros and cons of both against each other?

I'm most certain it's the Roland CR-78

Re: Nice "gritty" sampler for EBM/industrial
The EPS is 12 bit as compared to the EPS 16. But the 16 has built in fx (ala DP4) which really makes it scream (has distortion algos). There's also the new Korg Microsampler that lets you change the sample rate for some nice aliasing grit. I've seen it used in the industrial realm recently.

Re: big funk cabaret voltaire
Also pretty sure it was the Roland SH-09. Sounds like it
They also used a Juno 60, and later on an Alpha Juno a lot. Fairlight too.

Re: Monos
Korg Monopoly is an amazing sounding synth and as said before the arpeggiator with multiple oscillators cycling through is awesome. I did a fairly simple mod to it recently to add sample and hold and now it is a SUPER synth. I've played it side by side with a pro one and I think the Korg blows it aw...

Re: Ensoniq SQ-80 Not responding. Help!
You should try a soft reset or hard reset. My SQ80 started to go beserk and when I did a soft reset, it returned to normal. You should try to back up the patches just in case. http://www.scoreforsale.com/html/reset_ ... alize.html

Re: Trigger Out from MPC 1000
I got it to work with Stab Frenzy's method. But will sending this audio trigger out from one of the individual outs in the MPC be damaging to any analog gate/trigger/step/etc inputs?

Re: Trigger Out from MPC 1000
I guess a gate or click in. It would be 16th note 8th note or some sort of rhythm not 24ppqn or anything if that's what you're asking.

Trigger Out from MPC 1000
What is the best way to get a programmable trigger out for analog gear (Roland sequencers, arpeggiators, etc) from one of the assignable outs on the MPC 1000? I tried blowing up samples such as rim shot or clicks but it was off timing.

Six Trak vs AX-60
Both are single VCO with same CEM chips. Comparison between the two (and maybe even the AX-80 even though it's quite different) for more of industrial/new wave/experimental use. A couple of quirks questions I had for the Six Trak: If you stack less than 6 voices does it still play polyphonically? If...

Good seller: megamanx
Got a stylophone. Had a bunch of non-seller-related USPS issues and was very helpful sorting it out. Thanks!

Re: Analog style sequencer with midi and cv/gate
I used to have a Mobius. The programming style became to tedious for what I was trying to do. But of course it was still a great piece of gear! Looking for more of a "of the moment" thing.
