Re: HELP! ACCESS Virus TI2 Desktop not powering on! update e
It is only speculation on my part but there seems to be something MORE wrong than simply the eeprom on that Virus. Re: Waldorf Micro Q has no battery?
Yes, there's no battery in the uQ. It has some kind of ROM memory (4 chips) that maintains its status like flash memory.

Re: TI OS5 speculation thread
Disclaimer: the following is MY OWN opinion on the subject, based on my own experience with the Virus and is not any insider info. The new envelopes will almost surely be editable on the synth itself; it will probably require using a sub-menu page as the envelope knobs second functions are already o...

If you're worried about that kind of thing best to test all your equipment. And your food, clothes, etc. etc. You never know what nuclear thingy they might have been near. That reminds me, have to finish off the current batch of banannas I have, because banannas are supposedly radioactive. http://e...

I imagine they're exactly the sort of place you'd nest in if you were one - cozy, warm and dark. Actually I really wouldn't want to get there if I was a spider. Always asked myself why they seem to get in the most food-less, light-less places there are in human houses. 0% survival chance. I have id...

Re: Live experimental use of Virus Ti (video)
How much of the show is influenced by the normal "improv" things that happen live, even when the show itself is really carefully planned?

Re: Gear Envy.
Don't get it anymore. Only envious of the talent of the people who use the setup. Though a special exemption can be made for Zimmer's wall filling modular and frankly gorgeous room. but in terms of practical production methods I'm not moved an inch by it. But, if they like it enough to do something...

Re: Waldorf Blofeld from inside - movie clip
Liked. I didn't find the board "too much" similar to the uQ one, but it does have some common features which they probably used on most of their synths before and after the company changed.

Re: How to use Harware Synth Sounds with FL Studio?
How do you listen to stuff without a soundcard? To boot, even the integrated chip's crappy line in can be useful to learn how it's done (so you can set up a .flp file to use as default, init "preset" for your hardware)
