Thanks Michael...I'll be interested to see what you find.

Thanks again! :)

Re: Behringer Deep Mind 12

Thank you...I'll check that out. At some point I'll try and get to a store to actually try one out and test this aspect out.

Thanks again. :)

Re: Behringer Deep Mind 12

Does anyone know if the portamento can be "detuned" or offset for each voice thus producing the lovely old school portamento that the OBXa and family all did...as well as the Korg Monopoly? IE: each voice had a slightly different time on the portamento and in a stacked mono lead voice it produced an...

Re: Roland 909 Day

I agree on the Vocoder plus boutique! I had hoped Roland would re create this in their new line up. I do hope it has a lot more than 4 voices though...it looks great and I happily wait on hearing about all the particulars on this one!

Thank you Roland!

A few pieces of my work this year...

Hi all, I thought since I've posted elsewhere on this forum, I thought I would post here and share a few pieces of my work that I did this year... The 1st one is based around the tale of the Krampus. I was actually making a soundtrack for another project (that I will include as my other selection he...

Re: Questions about the modular fascination

I have several modular systems, one of which now includes a Moog Mother 32 (great module by the way!). All of my systems have been kept to only 3u 104 hp in the Euro format. I tend to enjoy smaller systems but can also be patched together as a larger system if needed. I also enjoy the limitations of...

Re: Yamaha VL1/VL7

I have zero idea what a breath controller is supposed to be used for. So it's not essential for me. A breath controller can be used as a real time controller to controll any Midi or combination of Midi controllers (or even CV control given the right bc coltroller) by blowing into it just like you w...

Re: Yamaha VL1/VL7

Well I have had the Yamaha VL1, VL7, VL70m and the EX5m and I only now have the EX5m, but I can tell you that as a former trumpet player these machines when stimulated properly with a breath controller are simply amazing. While I find the woodwinds better than the brass they are all wonderful and th...

Re: I'd love a Roland Boutiuqe Vocoder Plus reissue...

Given that they've included vocoder functions on a lot of their instruments in the last 15 odd years I'm surprised Korg hasn't done a VC10 reissue, or just a separate vocoder box of some sort. Good point! NaMM is not that far off...who knows? I'd still like Roland's Vocoder Plus though...the string...

Re: I'd love a Roland Boutiuqe Vocoder Plus reissue...

Are you after the vocoder section, or are you just longing for the strings and choir stuff? The Yamaha C-405/605 home organs have a Choir patch on board which could be a very good replacement for the VP-330's Human Voice section, and the strings are pretty decent as well. There's only the bulk of a...

I'd love a Roland Boutiuqe Vocoder Plus reissue...

Hi all, so I ended up purchasing a Roland JP08 and JU06 and I really love what Roland has done with these classics...I know that there are some rumors of some boutique drums boxes, and if they end up remaking some of those classics I think that they will sell well as well as a cool move on their par...

Re: New analog Arturia synth?

I actually think Arturia learned a lot from the Minibrute experience, and I'm thinking that the wait won't be long...time will tell I guess.

Re: New analog Arturia synth?

Just a heads up...I ordered mine through: http://www.jrrshop.com/arturia-microbrute ...and still received a 15% discount which dropped the price down to only $254.00. (The fellow I talked to at the store told me to type "group" into the discount box, and it worked!) For that price you get a lot of b...
