Re: UK voltage converter for USA Arp Odyssey. Which one?

Hi Nathan. Well its an 8 way surge protector, but I'm plugging a mixer that I just acquired into it. The mixer is a Soundcraft SX 20 input mixer. I've looked in the manual but can't find a power rating. So I'll be plugging in a mixer, MFB522, Virus TI 61 note keyboard, X0xb0x, a couple of halogen li...

Cheers mate. 100w converter it is then.

Ooh yeah one more thing. Are these voltage converters safe to plug into multitaps. I only have two plugs in my room and all my gear is running off powersurge 8 way multitap. Would it be ok to plug the converter into it?

UK voltage converter for USA Arp Odyssey. Which one?

Hi. I'm in the UK and recently picked up a USA (110V) Arp Odyssey. I'm just wondering what voltage converter would be sufficient. I was initailly going to buy a 300W UK to USA Voltage Convertor like this (http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=265288) for about £44 just to be on the safe side....

JP-8000 Help

Has anyone got a link to the service manual for the JP8000?

I'm thinking about taking the cover off the JP8000 is it straight forward?
Cheers.

Re: DSI Prophet 8

Hi I'm looking into buying this synth and have got a couple of questions. Right I have some gear to sell to finance the purchase of the synth, but selling the gear will only get me to £1000. I initially wanted a Alesis Andromeda, but because they have been discontinued I didn't want to pay £2000 for...

Re: Routing x0xb0x through Virus TI effects?

Cheers everyone for the replies. I shall give it a go tonght. I don't like the manual with the TI, I would like more practical examples in it, too much of it is just referece material.

Anyway, cheers all for the help.

polyklinik - Yeah upload a demo man I love glitchy stuff.

Routing x0xb0x through Virus TI effects?

Hi. I'm trying to route a x0xb0x through the Virus TI but I can't seem to be able to figure it out. What I'm trying to do is x0xb0x to left input > virus effects section > and then output it via output 2 left channel into a separate mixer channel. I want to use output 1 for the normal internal synth...

Can't help you on the synth side but that track is truly beautiful. Tugs right at my heart strings and makes me feels light headed. True music.

Re: The Curse of Jupiter (JP8000 problems, need owners' help)

I also bought my JP well-used, and some sliders, especially the AMP level slider is pretty worn out. The buttons aren't state-of-the-art...I cleaned the whole keyboard 2 months ago and it was literally stuffed with dust, c**p and hair! How did you clean it man? Did you take the front plastic cover ...

Sounds good Yatmandu. I'm looking forward to receiving mine in the post, but the item went on short order from Thomann as I was about to order :x . Hopefully it will only delay delivery by a few days.
