Re: Gear Trading Thread
That's no problem. I'd probably get hit by customs at this end anyway they charge loads for international imports.

Re: Your Synth Setup is now Extinct!
Man, this is tougher than I thought it would be. I think I've made up my mind though. V-Synth -> Yacht. The V-Synth doesn't float, and it's not getting me as many chicks as I thought it would. Time for a change. MEK -> Dinosaur. Definitely a meat eater, probably an allosaurus. T rexes are overrated...

Re: Midi-cv Converter?
Oh I think I've got it. So it enables an analogue synth (without MIDI i/o) to be controlled by an external master MIDI controller? But, doesn't every manufacturer have different configurations when it comes to this CV business? If yes, is there some sort of list that shows which keyboards respond to...

Re: Gear Trading Thread
Novielo, if you're willing to ship internationally do you fancy trading your TX81Z for a Morley Power Wah pedal for a Line 6 Otto Filter pedal?

I have a Morley Power Wah pedal and a Line 6 Otto Filter pedal. I also have a Tapco MIX 120 if anyone's interested. I'll entertain reasonable offers. I'm willing to ship worldwide at cost. PM me with any offers.

Re: Midi-cv Converter?
This is an extremely naive question. But, what does a MIDI - CV converter do? How would you use it?

Re: Alesis QS7.1 ????? ASAP
I can't afford a Fusion sadly. Maybe in the not too distant future but for the moment I'm happy with my QS.

Re: Alesis QS7.1 ????? ASAP
Shame really. Nevermind, I guess that gives me reason to buy another synthOld Iron Giant wrote:After a bit of research, none of the QuadraSynth series had any resonant filters.

Re: Your Synth Setup is now Extinct!
I love my RedSound DarkstarXP2 to death, but im not sure id be an equal replacement of a Korg-EA1. As It lacks a sequencer.. Its just an amazing sounding Desktop module, with kicka$$ filters :) The EA-1 was kind of an impulse buy. It was cheap and I had the money so I went for it. There was a darks...

Your Synth Setup is now Extinct!
I've been thinking about this thread for a while. It could be fairly interesting  . Ok, so let's say that everything in our synth setup breaks and you can't replace it with the same thing. What would you replace each item with? You can give reasons if you think it needs it. Keys and synth modu...

Re: Alesis QS7.1 ????? ASAP
Mine didn't come with a manual...and the one on the Alesis site is a corrupt file. So I'm having to use the QS plus manual. That's a pain but I can live with it. But definitely no resonant filters. It's a shame, but a hindrance I can learn to live with.

Re: Alesis QS7.1 ????? ASAP
I love quadrasynths. Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. All those Mellotron samples just make me melt. I love the Rhodes sounds as well. Everything about them is just perfect in my mind. Does the QS7.1 have resonant filters? The Quadrasynth doesn't and that's the only thing I would want to add to it.
