It was recorded with a Prophet 5 and they used the Prophet 5 live. Check out 2:53 specifically

The cable is nothing special. The pinouts are in your manual. I made mine. All you need is an old PS2 mouse or keyboard. Cut the mouse/keyboard off and pick up a DB9 serial adaper at Radio Shack and solder up. Took me about 5 minutes to make and cost about 5 bucks...

Roland D-20. Cost WAY too much and sounded WAY too thin... That synth was so bad I'll never buy another Roland. IT was plagued with issues and Roland support at the time was horrible.
