Re: Ensoniq ESQ-1 Hidden Waves question
It disables decrementing with the up and down buttons (although you can still navigate normally with the data slider; only wave selection is affected), but you can advance up to (I think) wave 255. I have created and downloaded a custom OS from http://www.buchty.net/~buchty/esq1/customize.html I ca...

Re: Syncing TR-606 to Oberheim OB-8 arpeggiator
Nearly ten years later I had the exact same problem like OP: My TR-606 did not trigger the arpeggiator of an Oberheim OB-8. If some other guy will have the same problem in 2028 the answer is: you have to convert the gates of the 606 to S-Trigger. It's pretty easy to diy: http://www.doepfer.de/faq/ge...

Re: LASER Mammoth is a browser based SysEx Librarian
Yikes! You might want to post links to the more basic alternatives out there so people know what tools to use to backup their data before trying your librarian. Good luck with everything! Mini You are right, that should be clearer. Better save than sorry, although the warning may be a bit too drama...

Re: LASER Mammoth is a browser based SysEx Librarian
Just a quick question...it wasn't clear to me where the banks actually get stored. When you have an account and click "Save to My Banks" the patches are saved in a database on the server. But you don't have to save anything if you don't want that. When you just click "Request Programs", rename and ...

Haha, you mean like a "L33T Hax0r" type of sitepart12studios wrote:This looks cool!
Though I have to say this URL made me nervous.. lol.. like some virus loaded website.![]()

The reason that it is called F0F7 is, that every SysEx message starts with hexadecimal F0 and ends with F7.

I have puzzled this SysEx Librarian together which supports CZ-1000 and works in Googles Chrome browser.
MIDI Channel on the CZ has to be set to 1.

Re: LASER Mammoth is a browser based SysEx Librarian
This is cool! Access Virus... Would this work with the TI? It should, but I am not 100% sure. TI is compatible to the older Viruses sound formats. I have tested it with an Indigo 2 which is a Virus C. ( I suppose I could just try it, although there is the risk of patch loss). As long as you don't h...

LASER Mammoth is a browser based SysEx Librarian
I have developed a MIDI SysEx librarian which works in the browser. It was meant for my own use, but a friend liked it and encouraged me to polish it some more and release it to the public, so here it is: F0F7 - Codename LASER Mammoth let's you reorder, rename, delete, transfer and share your synthe...

^^^ have you tried updating the firmware? the dsi site mentions 1.1.0 as adding 'Full USB Support!' yes, I have this firmware installed. Problem persists :( im glad i cant afford one because the kbd tracking on the filters being relegated to on/off switches is a huge turnoff for me. its not like th...

Re: Prophet-6 Arpeggiator and Sequencer! Marc Doty steps you
Awesome demo, can you save the sequences and if so how many can you save? Thanks! You can save one sequence with the sound program. If you switch sound programs the sequencer will continue to play without any stutter, so just save the sound several times with different sequences to build up life ar...
