Re: DSI Poly Evolver OR DSI Combo of MEK & Prophet '08

PS, I rarely, or never, use the Prophet as a lead. The unison sound is a little too chorusy for my monosynth tastes, and really doesn't make the prophet sound faaaat, although some might disagree. As a lead, the desktop evolver beats every other generally available analog or analog/digital synth out...

Re: Psyche - Tangerine Dream inspired ambient

Tangerine Dream tributes are never overdone and always a welcome listening experience. Good stuff. I too am a big Rubycon fan. I clicked on your link though, Thunderglow is very cool - love the marimba type sounds with the rhodes. Beautiful.

Re: too many f**k samples

All you really need is one of these: http://www.mfberlin.de/Produkte/Musikelektronik/Schlagzwerg/Schlag.jpg For drums, the only options I've had are: 1. Boss Dr Groove. I like the acid jazz sounds, and some latin, but have no use for these sounds. 2. Yamaha W7 factory sounds + expansion disk sounds....
