Help with used Emu Emax 1

Hey all, i have a Emu Emax that i picked up at a goodwill a few years back. When i got it it did not come with any disks. When i first plugged it in, it not only powered up but let me go through lots of different banks for synth sounds, drum hits and audio sample librarys. these all worked and playe...

Good hello all, I have the funds to start building a new music computer and wanted to know if there was a such thing? Im looking to clock my old analog gear with a basic clock signal in and out from my computer. I already use Kenton box that does this but it would be super easy if i could just run a...

Juno 6 stiky hold button

My juno 6 seems to always remain with the hold light on and hold engaged. Regardless of weather the button is pressed or not. Might this just be a dirty contact? Or something i could easily clean or repair? Im a bit on the broke end of things and im trying to avoid taking it to the Doc just yet. Any...

Audio interface for around $200?

I looking for some suggestions for interfaces around $200. I just need to be able to run my sterio mixer into my pc.
I hear Firewire interfaces are better but i wouldn't know. Anyone know any good brands in my price range? Should i buy new or used? pros cons?

Thanks
Nick

Re: Good analog for around $1500?

I think if i decide to go for something new, the Evolver looks great synth wise. Im really loving the Future-Retro XS though. This thing is rad. I have been looking more into some of the moduler systems and i am likeing these more and more. Particularly the abilitey to add on a keyboard and that i c...

Re: Good analog for around $1500?

The MS-20 is way overhyped and priced to match. For $1500 I'd bypass vintage and start building a modular. Doepfer, dotcom and Blacet base systems are all within your budget. I was thinking about modular stuff, though i think i would get carried away. I can see myself wanting more and more... which...
