Re: Moog LP expression control for filter

Sorry guys...let me clarify... I am using my little phatty specifically for bass. I am the bass player. I have used an MF101 with a stringed bass previously and it was quintessential to my setup. Right now I am not playing an actual bass, so any bass playing is coming from the LP. I just want to be ...

Re: Moog LP expression control for filter

Thanks guyaguy..

On that note, any suggestions for sturdy expression pedals other than the EP2? I've had a few of them and they always break after a short period of time.

Moog LP expression control for filter

I just purchased an LP. I'm primarily using my LP for bass, although I do some lead stuff with it as well. I think the primary thing I want to do is be able to control filter cutoff with my foot. I've used the fooger LPF previously as an effect for an electric bass but I'm wondering if I even need t...

New track recorded live by my new band, Novelectro

I realize it's not everyone's cup of tea here but for those of you who like prog it's kind of in that category. Instruments used include Nord Lead 2, Motif ES, V Synth, guitar, drums.

Open to criticism (altho general mistakes are obvious and this was recorded live).

I have an AN1x and while I do like it, I would have to disagree with it sounding like a moog.

Great Moog emulation for less $

Sorry if this is a stale subject around here. I wasn't really sure how to query my search. In any case I was wondering if anyone knew of any "hidden goldmines" in terms of a cheap synth that does really solid moog emulation. I think more than likely the response I'll get is "nothing sounds like a mo...

Re: Band midi sync help

I suppose another option would be to get something like the Boss mpd4, which I could go midi into the tr505. Use the mpd4 has a larger tap tempo.

Re: Band midi sync help

Thanks for the response... Yea the $300+ for those 2 devices seems pretty unnecessary. I just took a look at the TR505 and assuming it has MIDI out it can probably work. The only other issue is we'd really like to have a tap tempo that is relatively stress free for the drummer. Do you know if that T...

Band midi sync help

Posted this from other forum.. Does anyone know if anyone makes a basic metronome that has MIDI out? My band is looking to get some arpeggios/tremolo's/LFO wobble's synced up efficiently and can't seem to find what we need. We don't need a drum machine with a bunch of patters and sounds that we're n...

Re: Metronome with MIDI Out?

The gist of what we're thinking of doing as of right now is this... We'd use a Boss DB90 as our metronome, which has MIDI in. Since it has no MIDI out, we would use this Ploytec device... Ploytec to send the tempo to a T8 (1 midi in and 8 out). One of the T8's MIDI out's would go to the metronome an...
