e-mu sample discs (esi-32)
I bought an ESI-32 sampler a couple years ago with a cd drive and a disc of samples, I'd really like to get some more use out of it but am having a hard time finding resources for additional sample discs. I see the odd disc pop up on eBay but that's about it. If anyone could help me out I'd apprecia...

Should I buy this Wurlitzer?
I've been wanting a Wurlitzer for quite some time and a wurlitzer 200 just showed up in the local classifieds for $800 which seems like a pretty good price from what I've seen on eBay, but apparently 3 keys don't work... The seller says this is an "easy fix" but I'm still wary. What do you guys think?

Re: wurlitzer patch frustration...
There was a great Wurlitzer patch published in Yamaha's Aftertouch magazine somewhere around 1986-87. Each issue featured a DX7 patch often programmed by a high profile DX7 user. I think this patch was programmed by Lowell "Banana" Levinger who played Wurlie with The Youngbloods in the 60's. You mi...

Re: wurlitzer patch frustration...
The "best chance" would be the DX7, M1 and ESQ-1 I suspect. Maybe the MS2000 if you try the DWGS waveforms. Start programming ;) I would second your mention of the DX7. There was an excellent patch done back in the day specifically for the DX7II that used the mod wheel to control the timbre. Clyde ...

bpm counter to midi out?
Does anyone make a simple bpm counter to midi out? I heard RedSound made one at some point but it's since been discontinued. I believe the kaoss pad 3 will do it aswell but i don't need all the other features...

Re: Korg +5v- trigger to midi clock signal
Hmm if this would work that would be perfect! Plus it would give me a reason to buy a KP3Z wrote:How about feeding the trigger pulse into a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 with Auto Tempo detection and outputing the MIDI clock to your Electribe.

Korg +5v- trigger to midi clock signal
I recently picked up a korg rhythm 55 drum machine which has a 5v trigger out on it... is there any device that will allow me to take the output of that and use it as a midi clock for something like an electribe?

Re: Alesis Micron or microKorg
Micron for sure, you can pick them up used for fairly cheap. I think i got mine for around $250. I'm sure most people on here will tell you the same.
