Re: VSE - Good trader/seller thread
Just sold my Machinedrum to Faber - excellent and very friendly buyer, payment and communication was lightning fast. Highly recommended!

Re: outboard reverb...which?
I don't think I've seen anyone mention the Vermona Retroverb yet... I really enjoyed the Retroverb during the short time I had with it. Can sound incredibly lush or crazy and chaotic. The EQ and VCF/VCA sections almost turn it into a little analog multi-effects unit. It's also incredibly quiet for a...

As of 6 days ago, a Cwejman S1 MK2. And it was money well-spent

Re: Got Shruthi?
I bought one a little while ago. Nervous about building it, as I'm just learning to solder. I'll probably start it sometime this week - if all goes well, I'll post the results

Re: New Mono Synth from Vermona
Thanks for the demo @redchapterjubilee. I like the way it sounds... does anyone know if the oscillators and filters are similar to VERMONA's earlier synths like the MARS and the PERFOURMER? I used to have a Perfourmer. Judging from Redchapter's demo, the Lancet sounds pretty much exactly the same a...

Re: outboard reverb...which?
Well, I jumped on it. The seller lowered the price again, and I couldn't pass it up. Hope my experience with it will be similar to yours :D Now I need to sell my DP/4...argh. Well, if your experience really is similar to mine, then you should hold onto that DP/4+! After getting to know my Rumour be...

Re: outboard reverb...which?
What would be the reasonable going price for one of these? $450? Less? Reason I ask is that there's one in my area going for about that price. And while I've found the Ensoniq DP/4 to be an awesome effects unit, I'm irritated by how much space it takes up and how heavy it is. I guess my question he...

I've never gotten over that.

Seriously though, that f**k sucks. I hope you've plastered bad reviews about that douche everywhere it could matter.

This video always floors me:
Maybe you've already seen it, but it's worth reposting. I say go for it, for all the reasons you stated.

Re: outboard reverb...which?
I'm using a Kurzweil Rumour . Same reverb algorithms as the KSP8. I'm liking the quality of these reverbs better than the ones in my Lexicon MPX1. I've never used a PCM model, so I can't compare. What would be the reasonable going price for one of these? $450? Less? Reason I ask is that there's one...

Save it.
Unless you absolutely need something. But if you just want to spend it for the sake of spending it, I'd try resisting that urge and then stash it away for that next big, expensive thing you'll really need

Re: Reaktor 5.5 coming
It's crashed on me twice so far, and I can't open up any of the "New Addition" instruments (Carbon, Steam Pipe 2, etc) without Reaktor spazzing out with a Fatal Error. Anybody else having this problem? Those problems aside, I like the new interface a LOT more. Way more comprehensible than it was bef...
