Re: G-g-g-groove boxes!!!

This is probably a longshot but is there anyway to make your own ram unit? I imagine it would take a ton of hacking but ehh you never know? Also big ups to blavatsky for making my rompler dreams come true haha

Re: Elektron Octatrack

I think it's safe to assume that you will be able to do both. It'd be kind of ridiculous for elektron to make a $1500+ instrument and leave that sort of functionality out. It seems like they were really trying to pay attention to on the fly modulations with the crossfader style bank thing and that s...

Re: G-g-g-groove boxes!!!

Haha, I just messaged you actually. I wanted to say thanks suggesting the command station, I was hoping to get a sequencer/synth with a good in depth mod-matrix and I think the MP-7 is the perfect fit for what I'm making right now. I might not even get the MC-909 if the MP-7 grooves with Ableton well.

Re: G-g-g-groove boxes!!!

Welp, that mod matrix has got me all sorts of heated. I was looking at an MP-7 someone had for sale, is there much of a difference as far as the presets go? I noticed people make the distinction that the MP-7 is more hip-hop oriented, where the XL-7 is more for dance/electro. Obviously it can always...

Re: G-g-g-groove boxes!!!

I took a look at the RS7000, it looks pretty nice, but I think if I learned how to use the RM1x's sequencer well enough I could use that with drum racks to get the same effect. Likewise with the weak sounds I could make a few circleVST tracks if anything needed some beef. The E-mu command stations a...

G-g-g-groove boxes!!!

Hello vintage synthers, I'm in the market for a groovebox/sequencer. Everyone seems pretty hot for the Korg Electribes, which I have considered just because of how easy they are to use. Though if it was that easy I wouldn't be here creating this thread. I've had my eyes set on getting an MC-909 beca...
