Re: U-He DIVA

Urs commented in his very first announcement about Diva (http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=302792) Do ACE users need this? - Nope, not really. Do Zebra users need this? Nope, not really. Diva will be a subset. Merely a beginners synth. A small little gem with hopefully a lot of personali...

Re: Got Shruthi?

Well, the 0.92 firmware is still in beta-testing and not officially released yet.
However, you can download the source code and compile it for yourself, if you like.

Quite noteworthy: the firmware update is not for bugfixing, but mainly new features or improvements!

Re: Got Shruthi?

space6oy: welcome to the Shruthi-1 club :geek:

Here's an audio demo of some patches I created during the first days of using this little beast.
Some of them will be included in the upcoming firmware update:

Re: Got Shruthi?

Every now and then Olivier sells some pre-assembled Shruti-1's via the Mutable Instruments' shop (the one where you can order the kit).
Quite recently, there was the "RGB collection", three units, each a different filter and a differently colored LCD.
300 EUR per unit if I'm not mistaken.

Re: Got Shruthi?

I have one on the way. It's too bad there were no honeycomb side panels offered this time, but I didn't want to wait. So excited! I had the same problem and ordered the kit with the slit side panels. But: I got one with honeycomb! :D Anyway, awesome and very cleverly done synth for small money - so...

Re: synthspoting, Hans Zimmer live

Actually, beside those hardware synths, it's Zebra (Softsynth) all over the place. You might be interested in this thread at KVR's Forum section for u-he, which contains statements from Zimmer, his sound designer Howard Scarr and the man behind u-he, Urs Heckmann: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewt...

Re: Synth used to make the intro to Born Slippy

Born Slippy was released in 1995, and early version were around in 1994.
So it cannot be the NordLead (which the still use to add spice to their live performances), which was out in 1995.

I guess you should look at early nineties synths.
