Re: New Jazz Fusion original track

I appreciate your feedback, sincerely. Can you elaborate? In fact, the drum kit has received particularly good feedback from other sources..... Much of it was played/triggered on a Roland V-Drums kit by a live drummer. Is it the playing style? The samples? The Mix? Sincere thanks for any follow up f...

New Jazz Fusion original track

I created this track entirely with a Korg Kronos. However, I played/controlled the Kronos percussion with an electronic kit, and there are no actual guitars here either...its Kronos sounds via a midi-guitar convertor (GR30/GK2a).

Feedback welcomed!

Re: Considering a Blofeld Desktop

Im a huge Waldorf fan. Have a Blofeld desktop, MWXTk, Q Phoenix keyboard, and Largo plug-in. I use these a lot, and in my view, the Blofeld is the most under-rated/valued synth in production in a long time. It really is the pinnacle of Waldorf wavetable and VA synthesis from the past 20 years. Its g...

Re: Radias VS Monomachine!

I own the Radias, and also have the Elektron Trinity of machines...so let me offer an opinion... Straight up....I think you should get the Machinedrum! Your statement "I don't use many drums so the machinedrum isn't really on my radar" is misinformed. The MDUW is SO much more than a drum/percussion ...

Re: NI Skanner XT announced

Wait a minute....wasn't the original Scanner a freebie last Christmas? Was this ever a paid for item before now? I must have missed something, because I got it as a free download (a "gift from N.I.") before Christmas.

Re: Help...Juno 106 going bad?

Well....I replaced the battery last night, and all seems to be ok. For whatever reason, that battery was drained. Sorry, Synthaholic, didn't see your post until this morning, didn't think to snap a pic while I had her open. But I can tell you that the battery was very snug in its holder, and the hol...

Re: Help...Juno 106 going bad?

Thanks for the posts guys. I spoke to the technician, nice guy. He thinks it is the battery...so hopefully this is a quick in home fix for me. He gave me the battery part number and instructions on how to get in there and easily replace it. No problem. He thinks the weirdness is because the battery ...

Help...Juno 106 going bad?

I acquired a beautiful Juno 106 about 3 months ago, in remarkable cosmetic condition. The unit had just been serviced by a well known technician who replaced all 6 voice chips, and the battery (I was told with an easily changeable battery holder). Since I got it....everything has worked and sounded ...

Re: What got you into synths?

Throwing my 2 cents on what got me into synths..... Most definitely RUSH.... The intro drone in Xanadu. The intro to La Villa.... Tom Sawyer. Camera Eye. Anything on Signals (that OBXa sounds amazing!).....and then the digital synths on Power Widows and Hold Your Fire. With each release I was blown ...
