Silly little diddy

This is just an experimental recording I did with a Korg MS2000B, Motif XS7, and guitar w/ Vox Tonelab LE!

Re: Roland xp80 expression pedal assign

In edit mode you can select the voice, go to the control parameters and turn the volume on or off for the voice currently selected. Don't forget to save after making the changes. Hope that helps, I'm not near my XP30 at the moment.

Re: Looking at Virus Indigo 2 or Radias?

The Indigo 2 is absolutely perfect! Love it, and it sounds meaty as h**l. My footprint on stage just got alittle bit bigger! LOL

Re: Access Virus A, B, C, Classic and TI

I just got my very first Virus and even though it's a little confusing with the massive menu surfing, the sound is way more unique and thick compared to the rest of my rig. It's only the 37 key C version "Indigo 2" model but is quickly found it's way to the top of my favorites list of synths that I'...

Re: Looking at Virus Indigo 2 or Radias?

Yeah I don't like racks or "modules". I'm a live performing kinda' guy so I like everything connected. (I haven't used Midi since the late 80's!) I got the Virus Indigo 2 for an whoppin' $891 on ebay just a few minutes ago & I'm lookin forward to a new and different model to say the least!

Re: READ THIS if you're looking at choosing a new synth!

One of the number "1" selling "Romplers" is the Yamaha Motif line. Since the introduction to the new "XF" series the XS line is being phased out at great discounts. That's what I would call the best bargain around at the moment. It also can do sampling, and the memory can purchased seperately up to ...

Re: Looking at Virus Indigo 2 or Radias?

Well it's official, Korg told my contact at the Guitard Center that the Radias is discontinued and they have none left to order! I like the fact the Radias has 49 keys opposed to the Indigo, but I like that Virus has it's own sound, which could add a different style of texture to my set up! Great ad...

Re: Looking at Virus Indigo 2 or Radias?

Thanks fellas! I checked out the super duper nova but I hate rack mounts. And that seems to be all that's available in that relm, otherwise i'd bite! Guess I'll see what's instore through the bid wars on the allmighty ebay! I'll keep checkin' back throughout the next couple days though to see if any...

Looking at Virus Indigo 2 or Radias?

I'm looking to add a synth to my rig and was looking for some input on what everyone thinks about these two choices! I'm considering either a Korg Radias or an Indigo 2. I already have a Korg MS2000B and it's a little metalic sounding but serves it's purpose well. What would you choose? Thanks for a...

I'm thinking about getting into virtual synths!

I've always used the standard hardware keyboards/synths for my live rig and was considering soft synth/virtual synth applications. Does anyone use "Omnisphere" by Spectronics? I just checked out the demo and it's really fricken great sounding! I have a basic laptop running windows 7, 64 bit with 4 ...

Re: Need to find a simple synth but i cant!

Roland just came out with the "Gaia" which is pretty meaty but does not have 50 keys. An Access Virus TI has 61 keys but will cost around 3K. The MS2000b is very cool but discontinued so that'll be a bit of a search. I have the MS2000b and it's pretty cool cause it has a vocoder with a built in goos...

Re: Korg MS2000

I dig my Ms2000b! I use the vocoder here n there and some cool synth lead patches for a couple retro songs as well. It is a little quirky, I find it's output to be a little lower than the other boards I have but I just tweak the "Amp" knob down and back up to fix it when I change to a different voic...
