See y'all on FB!
No. FB is way too cumbersome to find posts older than 2 days ago. VSE helps learning a lot more, and there is a lot less trolling here!

Re: Synthesizers with awesome arpeggiators

The Roland JP-8080 has a nice arp feature, and it sends it out via midi.

The most annoying thing I find with modern analog are their 49 keys: 61 isn't the norm anymore...

Re: Still possible to get a Juno 60 for a good deal?

You can't get a vintage poly with an built in arpegiator for a decent price these days. You might be lucky, like a friend of mine last year who got a Juno 60 with a stand for $60 CAD (buy the stand, and get a keyboard for free!), but you had to see the ad, answer it and go get it quickly before the ...

Re: Newbie and Korg Poly 61

The external arp needs a steady click input to operate. Like from a rim shot of a drum machine, or a loud track with clicks on it. I tested it with a special clock module when I had a P61M in my rig, and it did work.

Welcome to VSE! You should always check all the threads on a forum before posting, and it's better to start a new one than adding to a 11yo thread which might not even be directly related... Considering your problem, have you check this thread? http://forum.vintagesynth.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=62712...

Re: Hardware external arpeggiator: is there any?

I bought the Arpeggio in the original Kickstarter campaign in Fall 2015, but it's almost 3 years late in the project, so I'd say don't pre-order it until there's a physical proof it has been made!

Re: Noob needing help!

Midi and audio are 2 different things: you will need 2 very distinct channels of communication with the computer to do that. First, you should check that the midi retrofit for the Juno is sending midi, because some will only receive it. And it may be as simple info as On/Off note, and nothing else.....

Re: Roland U-220 help

My first guess would be to change the internal battery (it's an easy operation with a common part): http://www.polynominal.com/Roland-u-series/roland-u20-battery-replacement.jpg While the unit is open, you could check that the screen is well connected to the main board: a loose connection might be t...

Re: device asks for 260ma, my psu has 200ma, works, ok?

If you don't care what the result looks like, you don't even need soldering to change a positive tip into a negative (or the other way around): just cut the cord, and merge back the cable the opposite way. I've done it with electrical tape to use a good tip from a dead PSU block, and that doubled my...
