Re: Looking for 1967-69 record of out of tune Moog

I don't know, but have you tried https://myactivity.google.com/myactivity maybe it will go that far back, if you were logged in when watching it. Thanks for the suggestion! But I don't log in very often. It might be "The Minotaur" by d**k Hyman. It was released as a single edited down from a much l...

Looking for 1967-69 record of out of tune Moog

A couple of years ago on Youtube there was a single from around 1967-1969 with instrumental where synthesizer was unbelievably out of tune (early oscillators needed tuning after each take). As I remember it was more of an improvisation, maybe bluesy a bit. The name of the project was obscure (not Be...

Re: Juno 106 question regarding key action

Thanks for the tip, I'll play it more - I know that it was not played much in recent time and I stayed away from playing it more partly because of the said problem, partly because of it's placement in the room (have to reach that bit farther) and partly because I sequenced it instead of playing. And...

Re: Juno 106 question regarding key action

No. Each key if thoroughly checked produces such effect. I feel It's like point of initial triggering is at 2/3 of whole key travel and unevenness (slight shaking of the fingers) in unpressing the key makes it trigger again. Usually keys on synths are triggered not at entire travel too but this prob...

Juno 106 question regarding key action

When I press a key down and then unpress it back very slowly (around 5 seconds) often the key triggers the same note again after it travelled up a couple of millimeters. It happens more when pressing chords as more keys are involved. Is it a normal behaviour of 106's keyboard? My synth is recently s...

Re: DX100 reboots after receiving MIDI messages

MIDI cable connected only to MIDI IN of DX. Straight from MIDI OUT of sequencer. I use Zoom MRS-8 for sequencing bass. After reading comments I disabled drum channel, Timing Clock, SPP, Start/Stop/Continue commands and MTC was off by default. However, behaviour continued and stopped only when I set ...

DX100 reboots after receiving MIDI messages

Problem IN SHORT: Yamaha DX100 works okay when standalone, but reboots after a couple of minutes spent receiving MIDI messages at MIDI IN. Problem IN DETAIL: My DX100 works fine when played on it's own keyboard. But when I control it from other keyboard or from sequencer, it acts strange. After a co...
