Re: Eurorack question - Do I need an output module?

Hi everyone, I've recreated the setup when it was working: Here are the connectors (I used the black ones) https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13606696_1752327258380389_5958541131787506265_n.jpg?oh=1af114d1a80ae17f318e97469c71419a&oe=57F9DD8B Here is the cable (I've tried several of these)...

Re: Eurorack question - Do I need an output module?

Thanks guys. I'll take some photos of my connections tonight and post them here.

Changing the cable didn't fix the issue. I've tried several cables and tested them with a cable tester to ensure that wasn't causing the problem.

The only pre-amps I have currently are 500 series (Chandler TG2-500).

Re: Eurorack question - Do I need an output module?

Ah! That Pittsburgh module was actually what I was looking at before I started the thread. As I said, I'm not really clued up on the Eurorack thing. I wasn't sure if I needed an output module/attenuator or mixer and my research didn't really help clarify the situation! But yes, it was working. I was...

Re: Eurorack question - Do I need an output module?

Thanks for the responses guys. I haven't tried it with the addition of a preamp but will do so today. Its worth noting that I'm using adaptors to convert 1/4inch jacks to 3.5mm (and vice versa out of the module and into the mixer) - would this cause any issue? I'm also using unbalanced cables. So th...

Eurorack question - Do I need an output module?

Hi everyone, Bit of a noob question here - I have one of the Doepfer mini cases which contains an MFB sequencers and a Doepfer sample and hold module which I would use to send CV to my SEM Pro. I recently bought a Dave Smith Curtis filter module, thinking I would be able to use it with whatever line...

Re: What synth have you bought more than one of?

Not synths exactly but I have two Akai S950s. I also have 2 Simmons SDS7s.

I've had 3 Simmons SDS9s (sold 2), two Yamaha DX27s (sold both). Probably some other stuff that I can't think of right now.

Hi Micke,

Do you know what synths were used on 'The Garden'? Was it a similar setup to The Golden Section?

Thanks

Re: E-MU E64 manual

Still can't get access to this manual. Tried going in through the E-Mu site, tried changing my location to the US and it still doesn't work. Very frustrating.

Would anyone be willing to email this to me?

Thanks

http://www.creative.com/emu/support/downloads/legacy/ Thanks but that link doesn't seem to work for me. I keep getting a connection timeout. E-MU E64 manual

Hi everyone, I just picked up an E-Mu E64 expanded to 40mb, which is in good condition and seems to be functioning. I was wondering if anyone had a PDF copy of the manual. I've had a look online and can't find any free links. Someone wants 45 euros for a PDF of the manual which is almost as much as ...

Re: Similarities between Roland JV-35 and JV-1010?

Thanks guys,

I managed to sample most of the drum sounds from the JV-35 tonight (before I read your replies). Based upon your info I'll most likely favour the JV-1010. I'll definitely do a comparison on a few similar sounds though.

Cheers.
