V-Synth XT patch management - Help!

So I have a good collection of factory presets and some I created myself. On my other synths, I usually create custom banks of sounds based on the factory presets I like the most along with my custom presets, leaving usually 50 (or 10% of the synth storage limit) or so "init" presets for when I want...

Re: New Elektron box--Analog Four

but I just see myself being disappointed with what is inside.... [...]am definitely getting Push which I imagine will meet all of my pad needs. Agree on your Tempest view, the lack of MIDI sync support from the start shut my interest down immediately. I would say it has a sound of its own, but over...

Re: New Elektron box--Analog Four

4 voice and a bad interface. Not bashing it, but my honest first impression. I will take a look later to confirm what I fear the most: DCOs as opposed to VCOs... kind of expected but nearly understandable though. All in all, I must congratulate Elektron for joining this sort of renewed interest in s...

Re: what are some good affordable rack mounts?

Try the XV-3080, incredible bang for the buck, tons of resources. Also the MS2000 is excellent- The CS6R sounds beautifully, filters are great, sort of unique in a very nice way... just pleasant. A Supernova I or a Nova can be gotten for less than 400. Funnily enough, looking at it, for less than $1...

Re: A6 Andromeda users, where are you?

Thanks for posting That's OK. There are many users showing interest already. A VST version for MAC and Windows is seriously being discussed as well with the potential developers. It's natural some users are very commited to their own way of doing things. Other users embrace permanent workflow impro...

Re: A6 Andromeda users, where are you?

Very well A6ers, here is the idea. I agree that it's better to lay it down already, and see where it leads us to. If you don't like it, I beg you to spare the guy with the initiative! The details and further suggestions are being discussed in the A6 mailing list (here: http://lists.soulrebels.com/li...

Re: A6 Andromeda users, where are you?

Hey all A6ers! I have gotten lots of responses elsewhere as well! I have not gotten many recommendations as to the best communication system to guarantee that ALL users from Gearslutz, Vintage Synth, Electro-music, etc. receive the proposal in one go if only for practical purposes. I believe in hone...

Re: A6 Andromeda users, where are you?

there is absolutely no harm in counting A6ers. I just don't want to disclose my idea yet precisely to avoid negativity, and because the plan is useless if we can't gather enough users. When we gather all the ingredients , I will disclose the idea, and you are obviously free to opt in or out. No harm...

Re: A6 Andromeda users, where are you?

Sounds good, thanks for chiming in.
Maybe I could keep two lists of users for a total number.
hope we can get over a hundred users.
I will disclose if we can gather enough users. kindly be patient. thanks!

Re: PCMCIA for A6 Alesis Andromeda

Hey Alesis Andromeda users, I am trying to gather at least 100 users for an idea that will definitely benefit this synth's users specifically... Re: D-50 vs JD-800 vs - JD-990

Good stuff. My A6 can't sound like that that easily. Purists might not like it but I do enjoy digital synths. Nowadays I think they go great in combination with big fat analog stuff.

Re: D-50 vs JD-800 vs - JD-990

Thanks very much all for your replies and valuable opinions. Hard pick. So hard that I might as well end up getting none! Go figure. Oh no, that's the wrong answer. Per the philosophy of gear-slutness, you should get all of them! :) I know. And I know I am violating a code of slutty honour of...
