Spectralis 2, Virus TI, Nord Drum 2 downtempo track
Hello everyone, Here's a track I made using the Spectralis 2, Virus TI, and Nord Drum 2. I've really been enjoying the tone/sound I get from the ND2 - a lot more than I thought I would. The ND2 is the only thing you hear for the first minute - then the Virus comes in (pads) and so does an Asynth par...

Re: Guess which hardware synthesizer I'm using...
Thanks groy - yeah, I thought it was a neat idea. I know VSE forums are a little quieter - but heard nothing over at Gearslutz.
I made some comparisons with the Roland Cloud Juno 106 and honestly, I felt like I could get 90% similar sounds out of them... if a little harder to make on the SY77

Re: Guess which hardware synthesizer I'm using...
I only wish I could make an educated guess. Total newbie here haha. I can only tell you that I like it. When are you going to reveal the answer, Acemonvw? Hey StanleyDes, thanks for responding - what a bummer that no one tried (or maybe no one cared). Considering the amount of opinions about every ...

Re: Guess which hardware synthesizer I'm using...
I can't tell if just not that many people view this website, or simply don't care to make a guess (could be either of these?), or are not comfortable making a guess at all... People on Facebook have given me their guesses, so I can tell you what they've come up with: Elektron Analog 4 An FM synth (D...

Guess which hardware synthesizer I'm using...
I made a demo using one hardware synthesizer - can you guess which synthesizer it is? The reason I'm interested in this is normally you have a "Juno 60 versus DM12" A/B demo or something and you have a 50% chance of guessing (sometimes people are wrong more than they're right in these instances!) - ...

Elektron Analog Keys performance
Hello everyone,
Here is my Analog Keys performance. I just got the AK (traded my A4 for it, and had traded my AX80 for the A4), and really really love it:

TB-303 *like* sound on my RT Accelerator; spectralis, virus
Ok ok - maybe it's not TB-303 like, maybe it is? I don't know. I like how it sounds. Sort of like what Shakespeare said "If you understand it, it's a word" - wait... I just looked up whether he said that and can't find it. Poopie - maybe he didn't say that? Well, seems true and hopefully you get my ...

Accelerator FM synthesis patch demo
I've found the Accelerator to be a pretty interesting FM based synth. It's not really thought of for its capabilities in this, and while I enjoy my SY77 and TX81z (okay, not so much - I like its grit for sure, but editing is not fun and I just don't love my rack-mount synths as much) - the Accelerat...

Radikal Technologies Accelerator various demos
Radikal Technologies Accelerator demos - I think you can get some seriously unique sounds out of the Accelerator, and after really digging into it recently, I'd say it's become one of my favorite synthesizers. Faking filter self-oscillation: Accelerator soundscape demos
Hey everyone, I began recently exploring the use of sine (and other) waves to fake self-oscillating resonant peaks on the filters of the Radikal Technologies Accelerator. You might be asking, well - don't the ones on the Accelerator already do this? Yes - they do, but their resonant peaks extend onl...

Spectralis 2 / Virus TI track
I've been enjoying using the Virus in SEQ mode - it pairs so well with the Spectralis. Definitely a great match if you have both of these.
Not sure what genre to place this track in... electronica broadly speaking, but... uh, I don't know, downtempo?

Re: ***Write Reviews For The VSE***
What's up with the new reviews coming in that AREN'T the ones from the submission? Some of us worked hard back in 2014 up to now making reviews that have been left untouched. I don't even see these new reviews anywhere in the submission queue, unless I'm really missing something.

Spectralis 2, Virus TI, Radias, Korg EMX
Here's a new track of mine. One thing to note: I used my iPad and MIDI Designer Pro 2 to control the Korg EMX FX section. I created 3 XY pads to modulate each effect. The iPad was routed to MOTU MIDI Timepiece via the Yamaha MD-BT01 (a wireless bluetooth MIDI dongle), and that was merged with the Sp...

Re: ***Write Reviews For The VSE***
I agree, don't bother. There are a ton of reviews in the backlog.
That said, I think you could make a review about a soundcard with synthesizer on board, especially since there are plenty of plugins on the site... just don't think you should waste your time until reviews start getting posted.
