Source for early Korg Knob Cap & Fader

Hey all, maybe a little unsuited for the forum but I have tried absolutely everywhere else I can think of. I am looking for the Large plastic knob with metal skirt found on early korg synths and machines such as the 770. I am also looking for replacement faders for both travellers. Does anyone have ...

Re: Yamaha CS-50 Calibration

Hi Ryan, calibrating the cs-50 is pretty straight-forward , if you have similar experience. Be sure to check calibrating instructions for CS-60 and CS-80 too. The only real problem is how to identify the voice card that is active. I used the yamaha cs-80 instructions to identify the active voice ca...

Yamaha CS-50 Calibration

Hey all! I recently acquired a minty CS-50 and am pleased to say it is fully working and complete. It is however, in need of some serious calibration. Each of the 4 voices seems to have a different level on the VCA and the pitch scaling on the voices is far off enough to render it unusable. My quest...

VP-330 Mk1 fader

Hey all!

I really need an image of the right replacement fader for my Vp-330 Mk1

It is the “tone” fader in the string section.

I need to replace it however my only source of parts need an image to verify the right part.

Re: The great thread of electronic/synthesizer soundtracks

I have always heard about the soundtrack that Vangelis composed to a French wildlife / nature documentary in the late 70s or early 80s but never been able to find a recording or copy to listen to :/ Does anyone have any info or files that are relative to this? It was really lovely stuff apparently, ...

Re: Juno 60 with no oscillator output

Thanks for the reply, The buttons are all very snappy and the LED's are very responsive to depression. There are no signs of misbehaviour with the buttons or the respective LED's, in fact, the front panel is incredibly well looked after and boasts clean faders and switches. The VCF does indeed self ...

Juno 60 with no oscillator output

I have a Juno 60 here and it has recently lost all signal coming from the oscillators :(

The noise still works as does the chorus, presets and all modulation.

Any ideas where to start with finding the fault?

DX7 Ground Noise

I have a DX7 that recently started to put out this solid ground noise (about 1/4 the volume of the output). Is there a way to easily find where the noise is coming from by tracing the ground? I have a multimeter. It all looks visually in tact so am wondering if the noise could be coming from somewhe...

Re: Moog Opus 3 Preserve the Sound

I love the Opus 3, it is such a unique sounding instrument, especially when the chorus/ensemble is working.

Mine took quite the overhaul however is now fully working. It looks and sounds fantastic.

Congrats on the purchase

Moog Opus 3 Chorus Output

So my Moog Opus 3 stopped working properly a couple of weeks back. There is simply no output from the Chorus section. It was fully working before and all three SAD512D's were verified as working so they can't have all blown at once surely? even then, I think the string sound would still come through...

Re: Prophet 6

:yahoo: Absolutely incredible news. I think this is the closest to perfect any manufacturer could have got for me. The design is beautiful, you know it will sound incredible and it is packed with all the features needed for a modern poly synth. Thank you Dave, thank you so much! Hats off to the man!

CS-15 Power Blown

So i was rearranging my set up last night and did something super stupid! When I was moving my CS-15, i removed the transformer that transforms the Japanese 2 pin plug to a UK 3 pin plug to prevent the risk of the heavy transformer pulling or smashing into anything. In the excitement of getting ever...

Re: Elektron to replace... Everything?

The Oberheim DX is used as a sound module being controlled via the MPC's MIDI. I presume you mean the Oberheim DMX? Or what is it you are using to sync it? Those first Elektron products are nice. You know there is a keyboard version of the MonoMachine, that way you could eliminate an empty MIDI con...
