Hi..

The diskdrive is prone to fail, but I have had a FZ1 where I installed a HxC floppy SD emulation, worked just fine.
The backlight is easy to replace.

If you don't mind mini-keys and don't require patch memory, you should take a look at the MS-20 Mini - it's quite versatile and sounds great, and it's a h**l of a lot cheaper than a Voyager. I have been thinking of the MS-20 mini the only thing is the mini keys, I have a rather big hand and big fin...

I dont notice any noise on my voyager from the backlight, though I have never payed attention to it either...I guess ill have to do some testing. Another good mono? Hi... I had a novation bassstation once, this is a lucky shot, dont know if it will help you. But I seem to remember that it has a thing with choosing midi channel and when this is done it dos'ent play any sounds... ???? But cant remember 100% in what funktion?? Anyone with a manuel to confirm...??
