No, all the synths that I bought with love, I love a lot more after years of playing them. No exceptions. :D
It's perhaps because I don't own any tools. I only have musical instruments that I enjoy playing by hand and which motivate me with their sounds.

There's nothing to worry about. New synths are being made all the time - all kinds of them. The old dinosaurs will be gradually phased out, starting with synths from the late 60's, then the 70's and so on. Some synths are already out of use, like the Novachord.
