new album for all you general creeps

"Morose" just put it on my soundcloud right now. Honestly, it's not my best album by a long shot, but it certainly captures the usual moodiness I exhibit these days. Re: New tune... sit back and relax...

never got around to getting that blunt, so I listened anyway.

really spacey stuff, sounds like a resoundtrack to a sci-fi B-movie from the 70's/80's....and I mean that as a compliment.

Re: Clubbing in Berlin

I enjoyed this mix more than the original mix, there is a certain stylish menace in the synths you added. great job!

Re: "Home keyboards" - real studios

I have a Yamaha PSR-280 I use as a MIDI controller. I've used sounds from it before in my music, but I probably won't again.

I probably won't be using it as a MIDI controller forever too, as it lacks a pitchbend/modwheel.

Re: How many of you still have your first synth?

MY first one was a Juno 106.

Sold it--and my beloved Rhodes mk1--to fund an ill-advised move to Chicago.

A month later I was back living with my Dad minus 2 of my 3 only keyboards/synths.

Re: Early Aphex twin synths

The last release I know he did was under the alias The Tuss, with the album "Rushup Edge". Two artists are listed as producers, Karen and Brian Tregaskin, both presumably Richard D. James. There's an artist signed to Rephlex who calls himself "Dave Monolith" who, for some time, me & my friend argue...

ominous machinedrum hiccup

Today I went to turn on my MD and for some reason it didn't power up. :o Up until today it has functioned flawlessly. I tried the average dis/reconnecting my adapter to no avail. I thought perhaps the wall outlet wasn't working so I tried another nearby socket. Nothing. At this point I'm sta...
