Sorry, if this is a daft question but I usually only record with mics. Should I use the Master Volume as the wanted output on my synth and keep audio interface input off? I noticed added input on my Mbox 2 Mini brings in some unwanted sounds.

Aw, apple and oranges I see... I have a Monotribe so I think I'm going to try something different. I'm going for an Imogen Heap, Foster The People, and Mogwai type synth sound. The Microkorg with the vocoder would fit the bill for my current project. Thanks.

I have been thinking about getting a Korg Microkorg ever since I sold an Alesis Micron. My major dislikes I had with the Micron was the interface I found difficult to interact with. The analog Minbrute also looks tempting. What should I go for first?

Does the 2 have any added effects bonus minus recording and Mp3 pliability. I'm mainly concerned with the effects.

the miniKP is a great deal these days, I have one and I love it - the big boys are cool with the sampling and MIDI and all, but the mini is a blast and I think it'd go great with a Monotribe to be fair though, if I were in your position I'd be drooling over an MFB 522 as a Monotribe buddy I think y...
