Re: Synths and You (the collection of opinions)
I haven't posted in a long while, thought this would be a fun post to get back into it all... 1) The synth that made you want to play music: I was playing music long before I got into synths (Drums since I was 4 years old, Guitar since I was 8, Bass since I was 13.) The question should be, " What sy...

Re: Any news on new products for 2016
https://i.imgur.com/8Murv2J.png Thank God it has an accordion bank! Yep! One of the most beautiful songs ever created (in my humble opinion of course) is This Mortal Coil's "Waves Become Wings" written and sung by Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance... who also plays accordion as the main instrument! ;)...

Thank you! I appreciate that. Moog recently posted two of my videos in two days on their Facebook page... crazy!bhrama wrote:Great demos Genshi, I've not had GAS of any great portent, but this thing sounds better every time I see and hear it.

Re: Moog Mother 32 Eurorack synth voice
Thought I'd post two more videos of the Mother-32 synths now that I got all three going... it'll be my last demos for awhile (I need to seriously get to work now.) This first one is a very rough and sloppily played tribute to seb17320's excellent "Mos-Lab 15 demo" video. I wanted to see if I could p...

Re: Moog Mother 32 Eurorack synth voice
I'm surprised that there is more activity on the Roland Boutique thread than on the Moog Mother-32 here. To help alleviate that... I've been doing a series of videos of the Mother-32 (still waiting to have that 3-Tier Rack delivered so I can add my third Mother-32 to the setup.) These are just earl...

Re: Moog Mother 32 Eurorack synth voice
Well, due to unexpected but very fortunate circumstances, I have three of the Mother-32s on the way to me in the next couple days. I will be doing my demo videos of these over the next couple of weeks... I am very excited about this! If there are specific things anyone would like me to demo, let me...

Re: Moog Mother 32 Eurorack synth voice
that looks pretty cool, is it a eurack format meaning that you need a case and power, etc...? or is it stand alone? Stand alone. Comes with it's own case and power but apparently you can also rack mount it. I heard it was also available without the case and power supply as a pure euro module . Nope...

Re: Moog Mother 32 Eurorack synth voice
That's a great looking piece. I'm trying to figure out the mother name. Purely idiosyncratic? Did Mark Mothersbaugh have input? Is it another euphemism, such as moogerfooger? Am I again over-analyzing? That's actually the only thing bugging me about it, I really don't like, or get that name. But I ...

Re: Roland System-500 - Final Production Prototype Premier
The sounds are boring. Even if it's just a demo, I want to see some wit -- that makes me want to buy a module. Or not. "Pfewrp!" doesn't quite seem to be enough but I might be old, or jaded, or both. Stephen Yeah, I get it. Hopefully once it's released, there will be killer demos and reviews of it ...
