LFO bleed on a jupiter 6

the LFO on my Jupiter 6 can be heard (slightly) even if it's off. If no notes are played, when the LFO rate cycles to "on", you can hear some sound. It didn't bother me much at first but now I started using a fuzz with the synth and you hear it much more! The only info I found on this was on the fol...

arpeggiator and Juno 106 issue?

Kinda specific question but hopefully someone can help. I use my Europa Jupiter 6 and a Microkorg as my controllers. They go into my mpc2000XL and out to the Juno. If I use the Jupiter's arpeggiator and only repeat 1 note, the juno will occasionally skip it a note (occasionally as in it'll catch 5 o...

Re: Would anyone have the sysex Europa patches for the Jupit

Thanks for your reply.

I could have sworn it wasn't doing it prior to the dumps... Maybe I'm just being paranoid.
Thanks for the help!

Would anyone have the sysex Europa patches for the Jupiter 6

I had some old patches in wav that I loaded into Roland code. I wanted to bring them into Europa so I dumped the existing Europa patches in Sysex to my PC to reload them later. - Then I loaded the wav patches from roland code to Europa (By pressing portamento at boot). - Then I sent those patches to...

Re: Jupiter 6 with Europa 2.0 freezes when midi is transmitt

Thanks for your reply. Apparently the latest version of europa shouldn't have any bugs. In any case, just a few updates: I was finally able to establish a connection, but it's extremely limited. The only thing that works so far is if I plug my Juno 106 into the j6 and use the 106 as a controller. Wi...

Jupiter 6 with Europa 2.0 freezes when midi is transmitted

When I connect the synth through midi, it simply dies. All LEDs become dead except for LFO 2 which constantly blinks. I tried using my MPC2000 as a sequencer. If I turn on the MPC and then the jupiter, the jupiter only displays the LFO2 blinking light. If I turn the J6 on first, it works up until I ...

Re: OB-6/Prophet-6/Jupiter 6

Choosing a musical instrument by resale-value forecasting is like choosing a meal on the basis of how much you'll excrete after. Not really... In the last few years I've purchased and traded many synths, always vintage. I kept the ones I liked, and traded/sold the ones I didn't like. With vintage s...

Re: Any way to disable Slim Phatty's arpeggiator ?

You turn off the Phatty arpeggiator in one of the patch menus (check the manual). It's settable per patch. Thanks. I just read that. Kinda sucks when looking for a patch while the arp is running but it's good enough. also found this: ARPEGGIATOR ENABLE Enables/disables the Arpeggiator 113 0 (OFF), ...

Any way to disable Slim Phatty's arpeggiator ?

My synths are all controlled by my MPC2000xl (which is used as the master clock). I'm trying to use my microkorg's arpeggiator rather that of the SP. It works, but the problem is that when I use the MKs arpeggiator and sends notes to the SP, for some reason it auomatically starts the SP's internal a...

midi related hardware setup question regarding a midibro

Ok, hope this isn't too complicated. I have my main controller/synth (Nord), an MPC2000 that's used as my main sequencer/master clock, 2 other synths, a 4 port thru box, and I recently acquired a midibro (which for those you haven't heard, is a really nifty diy box that allows for a bunch of midi so...

Can cc midi messages be sent through an MPC 2000XL?

I'm fairly new to controlling synths via midi. In my computerless studio I'm using an MPC2000XL as my main sequencer and a Nord Lead 2X as my main "controller" (limited to notes right now). Besides that I have a Juno 106, a Microkorg and a dw-6000. I'd like to know if anyone can suggest how (if poss...

Where to purchase 1/4" phone sockets? (Jalco?)

I just purchased a DW-6000 and both mono sockets are in pretty bad shape. I'd like to replace them but I'm not sure if I have to use the exact same model (jalco) or if I can purchase an equivalent. Anyone know where I can purchase them? (I'm in Canada but would order from anywhere) This is my first ...

Mixer recommendations for computerless synth studio?

I'm ready to purchase a mixer for my synths. Unfortunately I don't know anything about mixers and I'm not sure what I'll be needing/what I shouldn't be paying more for. Basically I need a mixer for my synths, minimum 12 channels. I would like a basic EQ and an effects (input?) I don't need computer ...

Can't get to those low notes on microkorg (midi)

I'm using my Juno 106 as my master controller (until I can afford a Lead 2). I'm using an MPS 2000 to sequence my tracks to other synths. When I sequence a pattern through the juno to the Microkorg, the lowest note on the Juno is still near the middle of the microkorg, and I can't figure out a way t...
