Re: Shipping Boxes for Keyboards
I get sheets of cardboard from a local appliance store. they cut them up when they get in new refrigerators and stoves. I use them to make my own boxes , very thick durable stuff. I have shipped over 80 synths from lil Poly 800's to DK Synergys and combo organs. never had one damaged in transit. kno...

Re: Sub 37, CS-60, Minimoog
Getting something like a CS60 is always tempting but at the end of the day its still a 1 VCO synth, I'd be more tempted if it was a CS-70M. But if i had a Model D about the only thing i would trade it for is a Steiner-Parker Synthacon and thats only because it would be easier to find another Model D.

Re: Arturia updates iMini with Audiobus support & more
Naw, several of the presets have an underlying "rumble" sound, specially the lead sounds are completely useless if you don't know and change the ext.input setting. The presets are obviously ported from the PC VST version, that did not have this kind of bug. It is possible that this is a new feature...

Re: Arturia updates iMini with Audiobus support & more
I wonder if they fixed that ext. input feedback rumble bug aswell..ruins several of the factory presets completely unless you know and dial the ext.input volume down. I don't believe that's a bug it's actually a feature that is not covered in the in app user guide. the blue on / off toggle for the ...

Re: Favorite IOS Synths
They have a similar synth-engine and sounds created with Wavegenerator can be opened in Wavemapper (not the other way around at the moment). With Wavegenerator it's possible to edit every single wave within a table by drawing and spectrum adjusting. Plus it provides detailed control over the path o...

Ipad Music Apps and Bluetooth Speakers
I picked up a Belkin Bluetooth Reciver today to connect my iPad to my Mackie mixer. I had no problem getting it setup and paired to the ipad. I fired off PPG Wavemapper to give it a wirl. Excellent its working. Then i fire off iMini and the sound was comming out of the ipads speaker instead . So i m...

Re: Akai AX-60
Welcome to the forum! If everything works on it its well worth it. I had one a while back and had the s612 sampler to use with it as a second OSC. Fun stuff. Wild sounds uses the same synth on a chip as the Sequential Six Trak. Kinda wish i still had mine.

Arturia iMini for iPad just released
It's on the App Store for 9.95. I just downloaded it and while I have only used it a few minutes so far it's pretty damn cool and gives you that classic mini Moog sound for peanuts on the iPad. Well gotta go play will report back with some impressions after I have used it a bit.

Re: Favorite IOS Synths
Another vote for Wavemapper (and Wavegenerator) https://soundcloud.com/wavetables/ppg-wavemapper-custom-sound What are the main differences? I've read about the Mapper but it doesn't seem to different from the Generator. I'm curious about that too I almost bought one of them today but wasn't sure w...
