Re: have you ever bought the same peice of gear 3 times?
Bought a Triton rack. Editing a pain. Need that touchscreen. Sold
Bought a Triton Pro, wanted a Kronos. Sold.
Kronos too deep. Got some modules. Realized instead of a controller could get better value out of old 2000's workstation. Bought a Triton!
I'm not selling this one.

3rd time lucky. What have you bought several times?
I just bought a Triton for the 3rd time. I've been stressing about my small setup, mostly that whatever I do I'm always trying to get things to where I can switch everything on and just noodle. I just don't have time to mess around. So, it's back to the trusty Triton as my controller and center of m...

Re: K2000 users - a question about zones
I believe you can! In the Setup Editor you can set the Mode parameter for the zone to MIDI, LOCAL, or BOTH. In the newer Kurzweils that parameter is called Destination (and includes a USB out option) disclaimer: don't have a Kurzweil but I've read the manuals years ago, great machines. Tidda Works ...

K2000 users - a question about zones
I want to use keyboard split to play an external module in one zone, and the K2000 in another zone. The only way I think I can do it will require muting the K2000 on the MIDI channel that I'm setting the module to receive. Is this right? I don't think I can instruct the K2000 to transmit a specific ...

Re: Prophet 600 mod
Thanks. That's what I was hoping. I'm actually teaching myself soldering in order to do this. Bought a little practice kit on Amazon.

Prophet 600 mod
What are others experience with this? I just got my P600 and I'm in love with the sound already. I understand that the teensy++ mod is a nice upgrade, I just wanted to make sure it doesn't mess with the overall tone of the thing.

Re: Line out issues
OK, all seems to be working now. I was using a Behringer UCA222 interface. I dug out my 1818VSL and tried that instead and it worked great once I'd updated the firmware.
Thanks for all your wisdom

Re: Line out issues
I'll check next time I'm up in my room. Pretty sure it's 64. Based on what version it is what do I tweak? Like I said, all other sound sources out of this PC sound fine. It's very odd. Define 'all other sound sources'... are you talking other VSTs? or things like playing PC games, videos and music?...

Line out issues
Loving my Legacy M1 but I just can't get it to sound right. I've tried using the PC line out but it's very weak and buzzy. I've tried a USB interface and the sound seems garbled somewhat and is still weak. I am using a decentj enough Mackie mixer and cables are OK (I can take the same routing from t...

Re: Proof that Roland are indeed insane.
It's a perfectly decent instrument for those that like that sort of thing. They're not going to develop instruments just for a lot of nerds like us on a message board. All these comments about "if they build it we will buy it" . No. You'd probably just go online and complain that the arpeggios are s...
